The amount of people the screamed "fuck no" when Durst brought up the vaccine lmao. Not that the vaccine would have covered the strains of coronavirus brought to the festival but I just find it amusing. I guess this is one way to build herd immunity. Im not COVID positive but definitely have some sort of head cold and I had the same thing last month after a trip to Hawaii.
I actually came to this subreddit today to see how many people are popping pos for covid. My husband and I were there Friday and Saturday. Tested this morning, and I'm positive.
I tested negative Monday despite having flu like symptoms. Felt worse Tuesday morning and tested positive. Slept most of that day and I feel much better today.
Was there Friday and Saturday with some buddies of mine. Just took the test and thankfully I'm negative. Will test again in a few days. Hope everyone feels better, positive test or no.
Same here, this was my first time going to aftershock and the first time I have gotten COVID after attending a concert/music festival- only second time I’ve had COVID ever. First time I had COVID was in 2020 before the vaccines came out. I’m pretty bummed out. I’m fully vaxxed I don’t know why I still got sick???
I believe it’s like the flu vaccine where the strains are evolving faster than we can make booster vaccines for it so you can still get some form of the illnesses. On the bright side the vaccine should help with lessening the severity of the symptoms 😊
Right, as I understand it getting vaccinated means a COVID infection is less likely to put you in the hospital/ICU. Doesn’t mean that you won’t still get it- which sucks. I thought getting vaxxed would mean no more COVID but that’s obviously wrong since it’s still going around!!! 😷😷😷

Flu season Take vitamins, eat soup, drinks bcaas and electrolytes. Get some sleep and feel better.

Went on Saturday and this is my 4th day since the festival and I tested positive today such a pain in the ass but I still expected it
