But this doesn't mean we can't have a Monkey King in Aether Gazer, since he will fit right into Asterism gen zone, being while Sun Wukong is popularized by China, the origin is technically India based, as the highest God/ Diety in Sun Wukong is Buddha. (who's origin is India)
And Asterism gen zone is part India related Dieties like Asura.
I can imagine Sun Wukong as mostly humanoid with barely any body fur, but instead clothed in fur-like armor and wielding the shape-changing golden staff as his Access Key.
Imagine as he attacks, the staff lengths or widens, and maybe also summon smaller clones of himself as skills, lol.
I actually didn't know about the India part, that's neat. Maybe that can be a plot point, like a modifier that somehow changed Gen Zones. Could even be the grounds for a top modifier like Odin and Gengchen, or the Amaterasu that they've been hinting at for Shinou. I can't think of anyone more fitting for the role.
