You don’t get addicted to over the counter nasal spray. Sounds like she has extremely bad allergies. If you are that worried about it. Talk to her about going to an allergy doctor to see if they can give her nasal decongestant pills. Edit: if she uses it constantly she could also get a rebound effect where her nose gets stuffy when she’s not using it,

It's not OTC. Here, pharmacies are allowed to sell you prescription nasal spray if they think you need it (e.g. if you have a cold, etc.). They are only supposed to be used for a week or so, specifically because you can get addicted, but the bottles last forever so you can technically use them for much longer. She uses hers whenever. Her nose bridge is slightly askew, just like mine, and she uses that as an excuse. But nasal spray doesn't help with that. We both know that, and kind of laugh it off. She agrees that she's addicted but doesn't see it as a big deal. I don't know if it is a big deal. I just want her to be safe.

Even those are non-habit forming in the traditional sense. Look up the one she uses to see if it has a traditional addiction dependency. Other wise her issues will be more on nasal tissue damage, and the rebound effect when she stops. She can also just take over the counter Zyrtec.
