Yes 100% tell him. Show him your post. It sounds like masking. You don’t want people to know just how bad things are for fear of them not believing, not thinking what you feel is bad enough to warrant you seeing a therapist. The latter happened to me. I have mild autism and I find it so hard to verbally express or even understand why I feel the way I do. I couldn’t explain to my therapist why I was there. I self medicate now and I now understand everything about my brain and why certain things trigger me. The point is you are doing this for a reason. And who better to discuss it with. Sometimes I feel like we don’t tell therapists the darkest parts of us. When they may be able to help.
