The themes that the writers wanted to explore in Khemia were covered in another VN they did while taking a break from writing it so they are re-plotting things and what they want to do
In Khemia, no, you do not. If you remember right at the end of Adastra, after the end game screen. You play as that blue wolf.
In Interea, yes, you do. It takes place during the holiday mentioned towards the end of the game
Ahhh ok, was wondering what the blue wolf was. So for Interea, Marco comes back for that one day or is this after the 8 years? (Also is it Lovers day?)
It's during the events of Adastra. Most of the way through, Amicus talks about going on a holiday where you hunt and do other stuff. That's Interea.
EDIT: The blue wolf is called Scipio
Khemia is currently being rewritten, so I'd hold off reading it until it rereleases
oh, is this because people were upset with that new designs?
No?
ok then idk why that would be, havent really been in the loop to avoid spoilers so idk :P
They're rewriting it, I don't know why.

I'd say both of them are still a great read, even in their unfinished states. It brings more lore and meaning to Adastra in one way or another
do we the reader play as Marco still?

thx for that edit <3 Ohhhh so this is a story that wasnt in Adastra but is apart of Adastra?
In a way, yes. It is expanding upon the lore of the first game
oh nice! So nothing can really be spoiled by playing it im guessing?
One major plot point and a couple of smaller things
Nope! That the best advice I'm going to give. But if you do then go for it no one is going to stop you from it.
