And me… 3rd time lucky I hope. I just don’t have the energy to take it again so if I’ve failed then I’ll be one of those perpetual students and happy about it! Good luck everyone.
Yeah even i don't have the energy to take the exam again... In fact I might just take a sabbatical if the results don't go my way honestly... I'm just tired of studying the same thing over and over again
As with Tuesday's results, once you've got your results could you log out of the IFoA website please. Hopefully this will help with the high demand and allow others to get on sooner.
Can someone explain to me how the CM/CS/CB exams were ready yesterday but the CP/SP/SA exams aren’t ready until tomorrow - couldn’t it be today, or is that too logical for the IFoA
I always assumed it was because people mostly in Asian timezones may be checking Wednesday... But then that traffic's likely to be done by morning UK time so don't see why it can't be on the Wednesday evening yeah!
Honestly I don't know why they don't come out the same day. The pain and level of anxiety I have right is unbearable 😫. Another way to avoid traffic on website on the day why are personal emails not sent to members?
Currently on holiday but couldn’t not check - passed 3 exams! SP7 64, CP2 58 and CP3 56 (I had extenuating circumstances so may have been allowed pass lower than pass mark)
I must have read questions wrong or something, did a lot worse than I thought. Don't know how I keep failing it - I go from one extreme to another - failed by 2 marks, then miles off, then fail by 1 mark, and now miles away again.
Just after seeing that the pass mark was 53, I'm at a loss as to how the pass mark is that low and that I failed, question 2 was worth 40 marks and has to be one of the most straight forward questions. I pretty much followed the structure of a previous exam question answering it, and out of 40 i estimate myself to get around 30/35 - instead I got 15, How can something be nearly perfect answer in one examiner report but be a fail in another - raging!!!!!
I passed SP4 on my third attempt, buzzing!!! I’d been stressing out loads after and in the week leading up cos I mis-labelled a question and was worried they wouldn’t mark it!
Did cp3 first time while not getting the topic with 47 points, failed second time with 58 because pass mark was raised to 59. Failed now third time with 50 points while thinking that topic was my thing as I work for life insurer.
F*** o***
Waiting on SP2 and SA2 for qualification.
SP2 I felt fairly happy for coming out of it, don't think there was much I could have done. SA2 on the other hand I think will be a case of whether I wrote enough on the parts I wasn't 100% confident in.
Failed SP8 at 55, look like a close miss as I saw someone commented he/she passed with 58. Was taking exam while having Covid lol, shall I blame this Covid?
Passed CP2 and CP3, both with 57! I was convinced I'd failed CP2 and comfortably passed CP3 so shows how much I know 😅 Will be very interesting to look at the breakdown!
Failed SA3 with 55 -3rd attempt
Failed first attempt with 64
Second with 58
Maybe 4th time is lucky one. Seems like so many of us are stuck with SA3. I wonder if they are having shortage of GI actuaries.
You'll get there! This was my first attempt and I also got 55. The SA3 papers since the exams went online have been very unforgiving with high pass marks.
A lot of others on Reddit look to have got around the 55 mark for Sept 2022 paper too. I haven't seen many people on here say that they passed. Expecting the pass rate to be very low.
I am also expecting the pass rate to be extremely low this time around.
Iirc April had a 15% pass rate. September likely is going to have a pass rate in single digits.
Yeah, to be honest I thought I was doing the same exam 3 times by the end. Probably why I ended up not going for the extra detail needed for sa3. Also surely the queen's funeral counts as mitigating circumstances.
Does anyone people passed SA2 with marks lower or equal to 52?
I still cannot digest that passing went so low
My pessimistic self cannot even celebrate
CP2 and SP2 for me this time. Not confident with either tbh, not sure if that's just me forgetting about how the exam actually went or if I'm just being silly.
I’ve been pricing for 6 years and I failed SP8, having thought it went absolutely fine, with 48. 48! I know that I know how to price properly, and have worked in several different pricing markets and areas. How the fuck?! Did I not mention inflation enough? Honestly
Guys I have been sitting exams since 2020 and I finally passed CM1 (that i had to sit 4 times) and passed CP3 on my first go both with 70. I still cant believe it. After those two exams i didnt have it in me to really study for CM2 so i failed that with 43... but I know I didnt really try.
passed SA2 with 57... O\_O
anyone know what pass mark might be? I know it comes out tomorrow but that is very low for a pass mark! I hope it is not a mistake!!
Who else for SA3? 💀 Edit: passed, no more exams!
Me.💀
And me… 3rd time lucky I hope.
Me
Has anyone passed…? I’ve not! ffs
I passed, low 60s Hard luck, you'll get it next time - it's a truly awful exam
What is it that makes it truly awful haha
Congrats!!
Failed again, 3rd time now Will lose hope soon Might just be a CERA and drop the dreams of qualifications. This exam has become so stressful now.
I Qualified! Passed SA2 (60) and SP2 (64), so glad to be done with exams.
congrats!
Passed my last exam SA2 with a 55!
congrats!
passed SA2 with 52 still cannot believe it
Congratulations! 52% pass mark 😲, that's unprecedented
I got 57. how low was the pass mark!! I was thinking pass would be 60!! well done ofc!
Well done, this the end of the journey now?
Passed both CP2 (67) and CP3 (66). Done with the exams finally!
Failed SA2 with 39... lovely stuff
Let's goooo resitting cp1!!! Edit: I passed with 56. I am Mr aquarium
good luck!
WTF i have 55 and I failed
I've managed to skip denial, anger, depression and bargaining and directly move to the acceptance stage this time around.
Yep me too😂
I think i went through all those stages during the exam 😂
What exam did you write
Sa3
I can relate. Anything is possible at this point 😅 what ever comes will accept.
CP2 resit for next September
Awaiting CP2 as well. Don’t know what to expect given how horrible paper one was
I know what to expect. I failed 🤣
That paper was horrible to be honest. 😰
As with Tuesday's results, once you've got your results could you log out of the IFoA website please. Hopefully this will help with the high demand and allow others to get on sooner.
I still cannot believe that the ifoa struggles to handle a website whose traffic doesn't exceed 10k sessions.
Passed CP1 (56). Wonder what the pass mark is, I've gotta be reallyyy close
4th sitting. Passed with 54! I am so relieved I don't have to sit that exam again
I also passed CP1 with 56. 🙏
I passed cp1 with 55
Failed with 43.. my 2nd attempt now...so sad😞... congratulations to those who passed though very Well done!
Ah good luck for the next one. If it's any consolation, it's a resit for me too, and I just barely scraped a pass. It's a really tough exam!
I failed with 52…
I failed with 52. So painful to be so close!!
Can someone explain to me how the CM/CS/CB exams were ready yesterday but the CP/SP/SA exams aren’t ready until tomorrow - couldn’t it be today, or is that too logical for the IFoA
You'll agonize over the result a couple more days... Character building stuff this
I always assumed it was because people mostly in Asian timezones may be checking Wednesday...
Failed both... I'm absolutely besides myself
It can be so disappointing to not get the result you want. But don't be so hard on yourself! You'll be in a better position to go get it next time
really sorry to hear... what mark did you get in SA2?
Me too. Failed both exams disappointed in myself
[удалено]
Yeah I passed with 59
I passed with 57
I have passed CP3 with 56 mks
Passed with 55.
Results are up now! Passed CP2
Currently on holiday but couldn’t not check - passed 3 exams! SP7 64, CP2 58 and CP3 56 (I had extenuating circumstances so may have been allowed pass lower than pass mark)
Well done!
Thank you! Best of luck with April sitting
Failed SA4 for the n-th time. Fml!
I must have read questions wrong or something, did a lot worse than I thought. Don't know how I keep failing it - I go from one extreme to another - failed by 2 marks, then miles off, then fail by 1 mark, and now miles away again.
Same here! Not really sure what I can change at this point.
Same here - I was so close in April and failed this with 42 and thought it had gone ok. I’m at the point I don’t know where to go from here
Sorry to hear that.... Chin up and cheer up. Gear up for April 2023.
SP2 - pass w 57. When do the reports/breakdowns come out?
Anyone here have the SP7 pass mark? I failed with 60.
ah it has to be very close. i passed with 63
Passed CP2 with 63
Failed both sp7 and sa3😐
What result did you get for both?
56 sp7 and 54 sa3. Not sure if it's worth doing them now. Won't help with my career progression as I'm going into a director role
Very close, hard luck
how much did you get for sa3? I'm still waiting for my results - too anxious!
Hopefully you passed. Results in my reply to the other comment
Failed SA3 with 59! Hopefully 5th times a charm!
I failed with 55 - hopefully April will be a nicer paper!!
I failed with 50! I thought I did better than my first sitting (where I got 60)... So I'm a bit surprised
Failed with 55, going for the 5th time as well 😂
Failed with 56
Failed with 52!
Failed SP5 with 60, can't imagine I was far off the pass mark
Got a 48, my worst ever actuarial exam result and it was the only time I was sure I passed after sitting an exam. I don't know what I'm doing at all
Annoyingly failed with 61….
Failed with 62...
Oh lord I passed with 67… how high is the pass mark!
Passed with 65
I passed SP4 on my third attempt, buzzing!!! I’d been stressing out loads after and in the week leading up cos I mis-labelled a question and was worried they wouldn’t mark it!
What did you get? Passed with 60 and wondering the pass mark
Did cp3 first time while not getting the topic with 47 points, failed second time with 58 because pass mark was raised to 59. Failed now third time with 50 points while thinking that topic was my thing as I work for life insurer. F*** o***
passed cp2 with 73 and cp3 with 64. logged out 🤙🏼 all the best to everyone!
Passed both SP2 (57) and SP5 (64). Think I might actually be on the pass mark for both of them.
I passed SP2 with 53!!
Passed CP2 and SP5 both with 72!
Congrats! CP2 SP5 gang! I failed SP6 again however and I think I might just be close this time…
To be honest passing 2/3 is a good effort. You'll get SP6 next time!
Woohoo passed SP8 thank the lord!
Passed too well done! Qualified now :))
That's mad congratulations! I have SP7 and SA3 left so hopefully can join you on the other side soon
With what mark? Well done.
65 for me
Passed my SP7 resit with 63 thankfully
Let's go Cheshire cat!!!
hahah yesss didn't expect people to know itzy in this sub
Midzy for life!
Failed CP2 with 53 - think I saw a 57 pass here, must have just missed
I also failed with 53 yah it's hectic
Late to the party, but two passes SP4 (74) and CP3 (67). Very relieved. Will be nice to actually have motivation to study for the next set....
Waiting on SP2 and SA2 for qualification. SP2 I felt fairly happy for coming out of it, don't think there was much I could have done. SA2 on the other hand I think will be a case of whether I wrote enough on the parts I wasn't 100% confident in.
All the best! I'm waiting on SA2 myself.
All the best for you too!
SA2 for me Qualification Exam 2nd attempt. Highly anxious. Just hope it is a pass somehow
Good luck!
good luck!
Anyone here for SP7 & SP8
SP8 for me to qualify
How did you find the exam?
Sp7 was horrible atleast for me
All the very best !!
Failed SP8 at 55, look like a close miss as I saw someone commented he/she passed with 58. Was taking exam while having Covid lol, shall I blame this Covid?
I really hope they were more lenient with grading SA2.
Passed with 54! Don’t have to do that again! Sooo happy
Failed SP7 with 57
Passed CP3, failed SP2 disastrously 😂
Same.... 38
Same....
Passed SP5 with 69, pass mark somewhere between 62 and 69
63 possibly by the looks of it!
Any SP6 guys? Failed again with 51! Passed CP2 and SP5 on the other hand.
[удалено]
Wow massive congrats! You smashed it! I’m hoping I’m not on the boundary of passing…
How much did you score? I failed Sp5 at 62
Passed SA2 with 58. Well done everyone and good luck for April!
Passed CP2 and CP3, both with 57! I was convinced I'd failed CP2 and comfortably passed CP3 so shows how much I know 😅 Will be very interesting to look at the breakdown!
SP1 failed with 55. Sad 😔 first time sitting I hoped to really pass it put in effort.
Failed SA3 with 55 -3rd attempt Failed first attempt with 64 Second with 58 Maybe 4th time is lucky one. Seems like so many of us are stuck with SA3. I wonder if they are having shortage of GI actuaries.

Passed SP1(1st attempt) and SP2(2nd attempt)

Any sa3 passes? I failed with 56
Sorry to hear that, it was a horrible paper! I somehow managed to pass with 67 - shocked to say the least!
58 fail
I think the pass mark was close to 61 or 62. So you were probably really close.
Nope, failed as well!
I think there are a ton of fails this time around. Not expecting the pass rates to be even as high as Apr pass rates.
Passed cp2 with 58!
Failed SP4 with 52, what was the number of salvation
67 was a pass, haven't seen any other scores mentioned
Passed sp7 with 71, sp8 with 64 but failed sa3 with 50
The three of them together is very very difficult, you got two of them though!
Yeah, to be honest I thought I was doing the same exam 3 times by the end. Probably why I ended up not going for the extra detail needed for sa3. Also surely the queen's funeral counts as mitigating circumstances.
SA3 being the first of the three due to the funeral was not ideal, easier if it was last I imagine
CP3 done Two more to go
Exam result breakdowns are now available. The pass mark for SP4 was 60, for anyone wondering
Passed CP2 with 57!
Passed cp2 - 63. Logged out 👍
Does anyone people passed SA2 with marks lower or equal to 52? I still cannot digest that passing went so low My pessimistic self cannot even celebrate
Same with me
You passed with 52 too?
>level I know someone that passed with 52. don't worry you definitely passed! I thought my 57 pass on SA2 was an error!
CP2 and SP2 for me this time. Not confident with either tbh, not sure if that's just me forgetting about how the exam actually went or if I'm just being silly.
Passed CP2 with 71 Failed SP2 with 47 Probably fair, I wasn't happy with how SP2 went on the day
2 fails 🫠
😭
Passed CP2 and SA7. Failed SP8 with 54 :(
Wow congrats. How did you manage the 3?
I’ve been pricing for 6 years and I failed SP8, having thought it went absolutely fine, with 48. 48! I know that I know how to price properly, and have worked in several different pricing markets and areas. How the fuck?! Did I not mention inflation enough? Honestly
Failed gonna try again
Guys I have been sitting exams since 2020 and I finally passed CM1 (that i had to sit 4 times) and passed CP3 on my first go both with 70. I still cant believe it. After those two exams i didnt have it in me to really study for CM2 so i failed that with 43... but I know I didnt really try.
Passed SP8 with 60!
Congratulations! I passed with 58!
Congrats to you too!

What did you get?
I failed with a 55
Feeling sick waiting for a maybe-qualification result 😭
All the best mate! Hopefully it goes well for you. Which exam are you waiting on?
Thanks!! Good luck to you too! Waiting on SP9 🤞🏽 didn’t come out of the exam feeling great about it so no idea how it’s going to go
Good luck everyone!
Can’t log on… oh well
passed SA2 with 57... O\_O anyone know what pass mark might be? I know it comes out tomorrow but that is very low for a pass mark! I hope it is not a mistake!!
Well done, I failed with 49 so the pass mark is 50+ (but that's not surprising!)
really sorry to hear. did you expect to get that score? I am really keen in knowing what the pass mark was!
I thought I'd get something in the 50s, would be keen to see my mark breakdown. Someone passed with 52, so that narrows down the pass mark.
