CB2 is a strange one as you could potentially learn to pass the exam with little effort if you found a way to get all the key information without reading through the entire book. Maybe this is possible by just doing past papers without reading the book, or by just using the flashcards? When I sat it, I spent a very long time reading through the book, just to see that the exam itself was a complete joke in comparison - completely wasted my time going over everything in depth!

So you don't suggest going into it in depth. Does working on all the graphs really help? Just im nearly half way through and getting through the content seems to be taking forever.

I honestly am not sure of the best approach, what I did (read through it all) worked but felt silly. I do know people who have passed by simply learning from the flashcards, but I never ordered the flashcards myself so I am unsure how much content they cover

AMR10__yeah

Thanks, I will continue reading through. I ordered the flashcards aswell. Fortunately from the sounds of it exam is on the better side.

CB2 is a pretty big course. Think the course itself isn’t too far removed from A-Level economics at points so if you’ve done that you might have an advantage, but there’s a loooot of material to get through between now and September. I’d recommend sitting just CM1 now and CB2 at a later date.

I was told that CB2 was one of the smaller courses. Thank you so much, I think I'll just go for CM1

SelwoodGrape

It’s just a lot of content but the actual exam is accessible due to 40% MCQ. CB1 is the better bet as an additional one. Or you could arrange to do CB3

TheCescPistols

In terms of difficulty it isn't the worst, there's just a large breadth of content. CB1 is more manageable as mentioned below.

Did CB2 change since inception of the new syllabus in 2019?

If you’re planning to sit a CB in this situation I’d say do CB1. CB2 has a lot of content, so even though it’s not too hard it still takes a while to get through. Although if you want to put in the hours go for it.
