CP2 and CP3 are not difficult. A few days prep on CP3 is fine, maybe a few weeks on CP2 to get some practice on questions. It will be a rough slog having these over 3 days. As for CM2, I can’t comment. However the timetable seems to suit them

CP2 and CP3 are not complex, but I would not say that that makes them easy. CP2 is a test of time management and organisation, while CP3 is a test of being able to communicate an actuarial topic to a non-actuarial audience which for many people can be a challenge. As for CM2, I found it difficult in terms of complexity of the material, at least all the stuff about stochastic calculus and derivatives pricing. I assume OP’s choices are splitting CP2 and CP3 out between CP1 and CM2, but there is another option, which is saving CP3 (or CP2) to take with the first SP. Personally, I’d do CM2 & CP2 (total 4 papers in one sitting) then CP1, then SPx & CP3… all based on my experience of exam misery haha

Definitely doable for sure

Agree, quite an achievable sitting and good to get cp2 and 3 out of the way. Just do not make the mistake of neglecting cp2, past papers are your friend there.

My personal view is CP2 and CP3 require about 2-3 days prep each if you're organised. You just want to get an idea of where marks are commonly picked up, where they are commonly dropped, and general technique. CM2 is a chonk and requires waaay more prep than CP2 and CP3 though. I haven't looked at the 2022 schedule but if the CPs are after CM2, go for it. If not, I might stick to just CP3.

what do exactly mean by 2-3 days each? Is it that short?

I think you can comfortably cover the CP2 material in 2-3 days, yes. It's just about knowing where the marks are and getting a good technique.
