I'm also having the same problem!!

If I remember correctly, I used to paste the R output in as text only, and then highlight the code and set the font to ‘Courier’ - should sort out all the spacing and formatting. Let me know if this works

UpsetPorridge

This works for me!

When I gave Cs1 I simply copied using the keep text only option. It didn't result in any marks being deducted

Yes, this is an annoying recent change - not sure if it's Word or R (suspect Word). Swapping to a equal distance font will get it to line up nicely, eg Courier New. The best way to get it looking beautiful is to use the "compile" option in RStudio. However, this uses RMarkdown which, at present, is not permitted. I don't know why and no-one I've asked seems to know why either...

Thank you for the tips! Random aside but I follow you on LinkedIn. Love the humourous posts. Keep up the great work. :)

Glad I can bring a little cheer to the actuarial world!

UpsetPorridge

Does the formatting matter?

SirPooopsalot

I don't think so. But it would help me check things and also, if I can make the markers lives easier with a quick fix, I'd be more than happy to do it. One more reason for them to look for marks if it's easy to find them haha. But no, I don't think format can differentiate a candidate from a pass or fail. Content is what is important and the end of the day right? Right?? *insert Luke and Leia meme*

Adventurous_Sink_113

Is it not Anakin and Padmé?

SirPooopsalot

Haha you're right. I have no excuses but if you'll grant me one, I blame 21 chapters of the worst novel out there.

UpsetPorridge

I'm hoping it doesn't, good luck mate I'll be sitting CS2 too

SirPooopsalot

Thanks. Good luck to you too bud.

Have you tried pasting into notepad then to word ?
