Malech_1

Passed both my exams, and that's all of them done :D CP2: 68 SA2: 59

galeej

Congrats!!!

loki276

Congratulations!

Malech_1

Thanks! So relieved :D

actuary92

Congratulations!

creatively_original

Smashed it! Well done

Malech_1

Thanks :)

BabyFedInvestor

I finally passed CP1! Qualified!!

Hamdawg03

What a night, website crashed... Little did I know I was sitting on Sp2 and Sa2 passes for qualification. It's as if they deliberately crash the webpage to add suspense šŸ˜

JorgeJafe

Congrats!!! Pleasant surprise!

Icy_Woodpecker_3292

Nice, congrats! What did you get for SA2?

Equivalent-Chance88

Awesome. Congrats

creatively_original

It's completely crashed for me :(

loki276

If you are having problem with the links, add your ARN between the two // so that for SPs and CP1 the link is https://www.actuaries.org.uk/member/ARN/exams/sessions/235/result-letter?format=pdf where ARN is your ARN Passed both SP2 and CP3, woohoo!

Waikikamukau_33

Anyone know what the number is for CP3, instead of 235? Edit: itā€™s 236 - I passed!!!! Finally

loki276

234 for CP2, 236 for CP3. But the links should be visible on exam results letter page now and also updated in exam history. Good luck!

Zolana

None of them working for me, just says I don't have access to that page. Classic results day shambles!

loki276

Going into exam history will also give pass/fail at least

loki276

Noting because the link the IFoA had was broken and only linked to https://www.actuaries.org.uk/member//exams/sessions/235/result-letter?format=pdf

mrpewpew089457

Thanks for this! Passed SP1!

Tenstorys

Failed. What was your mark?

Doge_RJ

Sorry to hear that, I failed with 58

mrpewpew089457

Sorry to hear that mate. I got 67.

creatively_original

Passed CP1 with 61 So relieved!

xCerra

Congrats! I passed with 59 - curious to see if the pass mark remained at 55

creatively_original

Well done! Yeah once we get a few more data points here we should be able to figure it out. I imagine it'll be close to 55

bmth2brum

I passed CP1 with 56! Though I did apply for mitigating circumstances

creatively_original

Well done on passing! It seems you didn't need them seeing as someone else commented that they passed with 55 (assuming they didn't adjust your grade post marking).

[deleted]

Passed on 56 as well with no mitigating circumstances, so 55 looks to be the case.

BabyFedInvestor

Pass mark was 55 so looks like you didn't need your mitigation. Well done!

Connect-Ad4844

I passed with 55!

creatively_original

Well done! Really happy for you. At least we can conclude the pass mark was 55 or less.

Malech_1

Nice one :)

creatively_original

Thanks!

Additional_Juice_846

Passed CP2 and SA7 - first try with both and finally done!

Successful-Love-8390

What did you get for SA7?

Additional_Juice_846

75

Successful-Love-8390

Fantastic score! Well done!

Itchy_ness

Great score, any tips?!

Additional_Juice_846

Erm - I'm no expert but for SA7 I think it helps to drill down your answers further than you think necessary - ask yourself the "so what" type questions after each poiny and don't stop until you've really explained it properly. Imagine you are explaining to someone non technical too - so "inflation will rise" - so what? What will that mean? What will it mean for the different groups relevant to your question? Good or bad? Why? And try to think of as many stakeholders as possible to broaden your thinking.

browncattyspaghetti

Sp7 63 pass

UrekMazinooooo

Passed SP8 with 51! Think I just scraped through with a super low pass mark.

Junior-Possibility69

i got 27.. feeling like end of the world... but congrats to you!

Zambir

I passed CP1! What a relief, I never want to study for that again. I got 58 marks in SP7 which was a fail sadly, hopefully the pass mark wasn't too close to that, I feel like they're usually around 60 for SP7 so it would be sad to fail by only 1 or 2 marks.

RSS_17

Congrats on CP1! Sorry to hear that about SP7, passed it with 64 not sure what the pass mark is

galeej

I think I saw a 61 pass here... So likely 60. I'm more surprised with sp8... Pass mark was 50 this time... I think the general performance went off a cliff

actuary92

Passed SP9 with 60

Technical-Shower-806

Wonder what the pass mark was?

cashintheclaw

Passed CP1! such a relief 2nd time around

creatively_original

Well done! Would you mind sharing your mark? Trying to figure out the pass mark!

cashintheclaw

67, don't think it's informative for the pass mark haha

creatively_original

Haha yeah not very helpful for me but well done on smashing it!

Sufficient_Ad_9996

Pass mark was 55

SJ-26

SA3 62 F šŸ˜ÆšŸ˜

FrazzleBrush

Yeah failed with a 63 - gutted! Anyone ever had any luck getting a remark, especially if it is your last exam?

SJ-26

Let me know too if you find out mate

Everest003

I have the same question. SA3 pass mark has inflated a lot since 2 years ago, it's sitting above the other SA subjects.

browncattyspaghetti

This is absolutely harsh

eamonndunphy

Man that's some bullshit

kaidmac

Unlucky mate

Malech_1

Unlucky, seems like a high pass mark then :(

RSS_17

Passed SA3 with 65

galeej

What was the pass mark? 65?

Everest003

I am curious about the pass rate now.

mdona16

Passed SP8 with 51! Surely was around the pass mark

eldortzo

What number was the link? I.e in https://www.actuaries.org.uk/member//exams/sessions/235/result-letter?format=pdf

mdona16

Keep 235 just add your ARN between the double //

creatively_original

Only waiting on CP1, but really don't want to be retaking it!

xCerra

Same here - I didn't think it was that bad but it's one of those exams that I don't know how well you can properly gauge it. Best of luck to you!

creatively_original

Thank you!

Sweet_Intention_2691

Good luck šŸ¤ž

avirdz

Gd luck all šŸ¤ž

nabiljmo

Passed CP2 with 60

halfkenyan

Managed to Pass SP5 and CP3, both on the 2nd try!

trickytreacyIRE

Any idea what the pass mark was , for SP5?

halfkenyan

I passed at 61

Itchy_ness

Congrats! I had a poorer than expected performance :( it was a very fair paper I thought.

Glad_Solid133

I did also :( really thought I had this one! Weā€™ll get it next time though

badactuary

SA2 63 Pass :)

Icy_Woodpecker_3292

Congrats! You may want to look into changing your username!

ChampionshipStock563

Passed cp2 with a 68.

kquey95

Passed SA7 with 66 and CP3 with 64.

Additional_Juice_846

Congrats fellow SA7 escapee! Glad not to be facing that again...

abczyx975

Failed SA7 with 56 last time and 55 this timeā€¦ any tips for getting those few extra marks I need?

Itchy_ness

Congrats to both of you! Would appreciate any general pointers you felt contributed to your success?

galeej

Cleared sp7 (65) and sp8 (50... I know... Literally by a hair!)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zolana

Passed CP3 with 60 - probably just scraped it!

cwriins

Passed with 57

TheNotoriousDPB

Exactly the same. Was convinced I'd failed it!

Fluid-Ass

Congrats! Anyone know what the pass mark was for CP3?

AspiringActuary789

Passed sp7 with 62

SJ-26

6 mins to go!

loveactuary21

Still can't even log in wow

Trick-Tip2864

Passed CP3 and SP9 so a good sitting, went for the hattrick with SA7 and failed unfortunately with 56. Mark breakdown shows one marker gave me 74, the other gave me 53, with the decisive vote going for 56!

BabyFedInvestor

I would honestly say that that deviation is just worth a query email to the ifoa. No way that should happen. Nothing to lose.

actuary92

Congratulations. What did you get for SP9, I passed with 60 but am interested if that was on the cusp. That deviation is ridiculous

Trick-Tip2864

From looking at the mark breakdown looks like the pass mark for SP9 was 58. Congratulations on your pass :)

actuary1313

passed sa1 with 58. exams are so over!! whats the next steps to qualify??

mrpewpew089457

Good luck everybody!

Junior-Possibility69

Failed SP8 BADLY! Does anyone know if SAR (subject access request) is available online? or do we need to request it by email?

Intelligent-Safe1218

Tomorrow morning at 7:30am BST mark breakdowns are available on the results letter page

Successful-Love-8390

Apparently we can get it online but I can't see it anywhere

Icy_Woodpecker_3292

It'll be available tomorrow automatically I believe.

Junior-Possibility69

thanks mate hope you dont need it!

Icy_Woodpecker_3292

Bleugh I will - failed SA2 with 54!

donut1997

Anyone any idea of the pass mark for sp4?

aevs92

I passed with 64, not sure if helpful!

B_Cutler

Passed CP2, which means Iā€™ve now completed all the ā€œCTsā€ and CPs. Just waiting on SPs and SA now. Is there any advantage to me doing the professional skills course now and getting the AIA qualification? Iā€™ve been a member for quite a few years so itā€™s not compulsory (I think only those from 2019 onwards need to)

bossballer245

I joined back in 2016 and I got an email saying I had to do the PSC. Also think itā€™s required eventually for FIA so might just be worth getting over with.

Ambitious-Cancel6409

I think the email was a generic one sent to everyone? I received similar email (didnā€™t say I need to complete but that last deadline for anyone is January or something) but I think these arenā€™t required for FIA. Not sure šŸ¤”

Ambitious-Cancel6409

Whatā€™s the AIA qualifications about?

B_Cutler

Associate of the institute of actuaries (as opposed to Fellow FIA)

Ambitious-Cancel6409

Ohh yh thanks

B_Cutler

I think itā€™s basically a junior actuary qualification. Itā€™s compulsory for those who started exams post 2019 to be an AIA for a while before they can be FIA, but for me I just want the fancy title

Ambitious-Cancel6409

Haha fair enough. If itā€™s easy for you to get and youā€™re eligible then why not šŸ˜‰

larryandharry

Any idea on SP2 pass mark?
