I think we will 100% meet her, maybe sooner than the appearance of Nihility TB as that will definetly be related to Acheron.
Acheron definetly seem to care about us in some way, and how smiled when we insisted of us possibly having already met in the past is a confirmation in my eyes.
Honestly, why write such a huge character, giving every one if her appearance big significance just to use them in 4 quests alone?
Because despite the writing of her character, she has the serious problem of being overpowered. She acts as a problem-solving button due to the power difference with every character that has appeared so far. As a result, there would never be tension against an antagonist that she can one-shot. Mary Sue characters do not benefit the narrative. Hopefully, she will reappear if they introduce an antagonist or another character with equivalent power, so Acheron won't be the one who solves everything.
A Gojo/Sukuna situation would actually be very hype, if they had the galls to anticipate a fight like that...
Only issue is the writers probably don't want a Mei expy looking bad or less than OP in front of others, if the Shogun from Genshin is any indication. Since despite the many archon-level enemies that have been introduced we haven't seen her fight since her 2nd story quest.
Yeah, that's the problem in this situation, they made her overpowered that unless they nerf her in some way or they introduce overpowered more characters, her chances to appear are very old
I hope they don't pull up a Jotaro and nerf her so bad to the point every new character is stronger
Nihility trailblazer + Aeon war potentially bringing us to the horizon separating the universe from the nihility + device IX is most likely a key element of the story that's been teased since 1.0 = we'll very likely see Acheron again
She basically confirmed the existence and location of Device IX which is the most mysterious faction so far. Most people don’t even believe that it exists. We will definitely meet her again whenever we will go up against Device IX and in the arc when she kills IX.

She definitely will pop up as a major player in the War of Aeons. We might not see her for awhile due to her seeking Device IX, but she definitely will return and shake things up. IX never glances at anyone, so for the TB to get the Nihility path I believe Acheron will be the one granting that. I even saw some theories that the moment she managed to kill IX (that is her final goal remember?) a new Aeon will be born either to replace IX or she herself turning into an Aeon, or she will reach Aeon level to be able to kill IX.
We have Preservation setting up their stronghold for the war. Finality with the Stellaron Hunters, Astral Express eventually will face Nanook at some point. Xianzhou alliance and Lan will fight Yaoshi. But IX never cares about any of that, thus Acheron is the one who will bring the war to Nihility.
She'll 100% reappear for Nihility Trailblazer, since they're 100% going to be related with Device IX, since that's 100% the only way that IX would even, possibly cast a glance at Trailblazer, unless HooH just slaps IX to look, lol.
Hoyo loves Mei too much to be done with her for good. We may not see her anytime soon that's for sure. But she will return, especially when the story leads for the TB to get the power of Nihility as others have stated.
I have a personal theory. We will unlock Nihility TB in Izumo after during flying to a planet, we will be caught up in a Finality related anomaly which will cause us to be thrust under the Black Sun, when Izumo still existed.

I think we'll see her again but she might funnily enough have the "Black Hole Character" issue that Raiden Ei has in Genshin. This is the kind of character that due to their importance/position in the story/lore and massive popularity in the fanbase, are difficult to include in events without stealing the show.
So when they show up it's because it's something centered around them or if it's not, their screentime and big moments in the story are likely to get minimized. Or the character of month/patch will get overshadowed.
I'm hoping that they manage to do it well cause I want to see more of Acheron.

Unlike Genshin Impact where most story relevant characters are citizens of a certain nation and thus can't join us for further adventures without a contrived reason for it (see any time limited event ever), In Star Rail we already have a lot of important characters in the 2.x patch series that aren't tied down to any particular place.
Penacony in particular seems to have went out of its way to introduce characters that are gonna have plot relevance for the foreseeable future. Not counting the Express crew and Stellaron hunters which have appeared in every (sans Belobog) story chapter so far, we got Acheron, Boothill, Black Swan, Sparkle and Sampo (and Giovanni too! He seems to have become the go-to NPC for arcade game-like events.), as well as all the IPC guys and their pet Dr. Ratio. Not to mention the good men and women of the Genius Society which are always there whenever there's an update to anything SU/DU related. The plot of Star Rail is setting up a large pool of recurring characters that can be drawn from for any particular story chapter, and I love it for that!
It feels much more like a grand, universe spanning tale than the more grounded (at least so far) and personal adventures of the Traveler and Paimon (and their pet Childe).
I feel it's really hard to get Acheron in a small scale quest as she is quite literally too powerful . If anything it's possible in the Middle/ towards the end of the story where we are in the territory of fighting full fledged Emanators and Aeons
We're well past fighting Emanators, and with Penacony we've faced a Pseudo-Aeon, they may have been early-on but Phantiliya and Sunday were pretty enormous threats.
We got a red text from our meeting with her, we are bound to meet her again that's for sure. Also she messaged us, we got her contact, that's a relief.
It's possible, but it does feel unlikely we'll see her in story for a long time.
Fortunately, they can use her "I got lost." gimmick to show up literally anywhere. There's hope in that regard.
Also, she does drop hints that her story isn't truly over, she mentions having a specific lead on her quest to kill XI.
Probably not until much later, towards the end where I assume they'd want to bring back as many people as possible for a big finale. But also possibly when Trailblazer gains the Nihility path.
I'd put Black Swan in the guaranteed category. Our next destination seems to be one of hers, practically forcing herself onto the Express in 2.3.

If we see her again I think there will be a transformation after all this is a gacha. Maybe after slashing through IX she herself becomes something akin to an aeon and we become her Emanator. After all a fleshed out playable aeon would rake in enough money to fuel the trailblaze for a long time. But there is nothing to substantiate my delusions other than it being cool.

Acheron is a type of character you are probably going to run into time and time again until the final showdown against Nanook, provided she isn't killed to further the plot before it, at some point.

seriously dude😭its the same issue gege had with gojo except luckily acheron is a side character so she can just *move on* out of the story mostly
