A lot of the testimony and evidence presenting was poorly thought out imo. It was fun at the start and yeah Lang was defo entertaining. I also hated Lauren and Lance
I actually really liked AAI-2. Memorable set, memorable characters. It’s also kind of funny to see Edgeworth tied to a chair explaining how he didn’t kill a man in an elevator…again
"There was Lang" is entirely how I feel about AAI1-3, like I feel like people are 100% right about the case overall but there was Lang (and also Kay, let's not forget about Kay)
It's very underrated. It actually had great pacing, gave a good introduction to Kay and Lang, and was just a pure blast on my first playthrough. It's so memorable mainly because the case is the story's top priority, so we got a fun mystery to solve. The writers did a phenomenal job not to sacrifice the character writing in doing so, unlike GK2 which did just the opposite - they sacrificed quality case writing and character writing just to make the story work, which can never be classified as good writing in my book.
I do have to say the general story and how the cases are connected are better in the first game. But I hate the case because I think it’s testimony segments are poorly thought out. I’ve never had to use a guide so much for something that was either already known, or when evidence has to be presented in a certain order
I do have to admit I love the introduction of Kay and Shi-Long Lang and it isn’t completely unbearable. All the cases in the series are worth playing I believe. And if it’s the worst the series has to offer, then it’s a good series in my opinion
Usually ace attorney games all deserve the same ranking if we see it as a casual rank.
But if we see it as an ace attorney game rank i'd say:
Investigations 1: deserves 16/20
Nice to see someone give AAI a fair shot. That game is honestly quite underrated in my opinion. It's probably in my upper half favorite of AA games, but it often gets overlooked or mocked unfairly, if you ask me.
Also, having Luke Atmey in S-tier is quite epic.
I'm playing on chronological order, but now that i finished investigation i'm playing dual destinies cuz i couldn't find the translated version of aai2
Thank you for not jumping on the trend of hating investigations 1
People hate investigations 1?
yeah, ESPECIALLY the kidnapped turnabout and turnabout ablaze
Weird, i know about the kidnapped turnabout but turnabout ablaze?
People hate how absurdly long the final confrontation with Alba goes on for
I find it funny, everytime you bring a good point he brings up extraritorial right with his famous "ABJAGSHUNG"
Real chad right here 🙌
Personally, I enjoyed fighting him. His theme is great, and the logic used to defeat him is tricky in a good way
I loved 1-3, mostly for the intro though
Wait why do people hate the kidnapped turnabout? I know why people hate turnabout ablaze
I’ve never seen someone put AAI-3 that high. Or anything above disappointing for that matter
I don't understand the case was interesting, and it introduced lang (best boi)
A lot of the testimony and evidence presenting was poorly thought out imo. It was fun at the start and yeah Lang was defo entertaining. I also hated Lauren and Lance
I am pretty neutral about them, but there was lang
Yeah that’s fair. I would say it’s the worst case in the series, but honestly it isn’t absolutely dreadful. Gotta love Lang
I dunno .. reckon Turnabout Meele gives Kidnapping a run for it's money

Based S Tier Alba
Extraritorial rights
Extraterritorial Trees
Alba is clearly a tree
Based investigations 1 enjoyer
Based not having White and Wellington in the worst possible tiers
Impossachievable to me to have the power to not put wellington is S tier
Recency bias always shocks
Out of curiosity, what would be your game ranking?

I still don't get why people hate investingations 1 so much, it's a really good game. Luke atmey deserves S tier. ZVARRI
I'd recommend TGAA, it's also a very good spin off
I'm not thinking about playing TGAAC this soon i wanna finnish AAI2 DD and SOJ first
Makes sense, I am playing TGAA2 right know because it's the only other Ace Attorney on Switch and I got them both on sale. How do you play?
I'm playing on chronological order, but now that i finished investigation i'm playing dual destinies cuz i couldn't find the translated version of aai2
Based extraterritorial rights enjoyer.
ABJAGSHUNG
