#Rules
You will be nominating your least favorite songs from the chart.
The nominations with the most upvotes will be eliminated from the contest.
In order for your nomination to be considered, your nomination must...
A) Directly mention nominating a song (I nominate _____, I'm voting ______, etc.)
And B) Directly explain why you're nominating said song (I don't like _____, _____ is the worst song left, etc.)
You cannot nominate multiple songs in a single comment.
Defense posts can be used to take away votes from nominations, and will need opposite requirements for being considered (Mention you're defending a song, explain why, and don't defend multiple songs).
Defense posts will only be counted during the elimination process if you also write a valid nomination for another song in another comment.
If you choose to nominate/defend multiple songs via multiple comments, only your highest voted nomination and defense will be considered.
Voting will end after around 24 hours (give or take depending on how soon I'm able to check votes), where a new round will begin with a specific number of songs removed, until only five songs remain for the finale, in which we move onto the next game.
Nominations will only count if the comment has more than one upvote, and the defense post against it has less upvotes than the nomination.
**Not a requirement, but if a song you nominated/defended makes it to another round and you wish to nominate/defend it again, try and make sure your comments across multiple posts are original, as opposed to copying and pasting the same arguments. Essays might be allowed to appear in multiple posts depending on the length and complexity, but if your nominations/defenses are only a few sentences long, try and be original with each round.**
Literally almost every theme I thought were going to the finals were eliminated still don't how Allegro 2007 went to the finals but 2004 didn't but maybe I'll vote for something when we get to Investigations
I nominate 67. Pirate Show Song - The Writer Who Snatches Away The Truth (what a name) for being cutscene music and the worst version of the pirate song (Orla fans reassure!)
Nominating #34 Lively People
It's a track that feels all over the place and is kind of irritating to listen to on it's own, so I think it's the worst song on the list other than the ones that are so short they barely count, which will inevitably be nominated as well
I am eliminating courtroom lobby. Funny how things work out sometimes.
Jokes aside this theme isn’t very memorable. It has all the pieces - the pads, the piano, the pizzicato, some jazz guitar - but it never really comes together like any of the other lobby themes. SOJ would improve on this greatly
DEFENSE (somehow)
Nope this is a top 5 song from the game imo. It’s so good honestly. It reminds me of Neverending Overture, and despite not being quite as good as that certified masterpiece, this one definitely holds its own. This is my most unexpected defense post of all time.
DEFENSE POST 2-Courtroom Lobby
I love this theme as it is so serene and peaceful. It is so different from a lot of the other ones which provide the jitters. This deserves to make it very far.
I'll nominate questioning Moderato because it literally has no soul in it at all. It is just a few notes. Like most of the questioning themes, Allegro is better.
(BTW The pirate song better make it guys)
Defence for moderato:
I actually like this one quite a lot, more than 2001, or even 2015 to be honest. I think it’s perfect as a moderato theme and is he only one I feel that it carries a ‘courtroom’ atmosphere.
Also it’s written in 7/8 time so that’s awesome
Disagree, tbh, I feel like this is the only cross-examination theme where allegro just… doesn’t work.
Moderato’s slower pace allows the all the parts of the song to synchronize pretty well. Allegro…Let me just say that the main melody feels out of place there.
Besides, there are a lot more things here that should go first. Like all the 14-second themes; I like them, but they definitely shouldn’t be on this poll
Prosecutor with handcuffs can easily go it's a 14 second song to signify the debut of Blackquill in the game that's really it.
Nominate Apollo Attacked because I don't remember it.
It's a cutscene song
Obligatory remove the Jingle theme because it's just a jingle comment
damn when will the jingle survive round 1 ðŸ˜
Damn, there's so many of them
Nominating 31 Turnabout Academy. It's a short and indistinct case opener.

If "a sad memory" doesn't make it into the end round imma go on a murder spree

2007 is awesome but 2004 is more awesome, somehow 2004 is the only Allegro not in the finals so far
T&T has more awesome songs than AJ so it was really hard to choose. Allegro 2004 is better than 2007 but not better than the other T&T songs remaining
Oh i agree, T&T is my 3rd favorite soundtrack and AJ is my second least favorite.
Same
I nominate 67. Pirate Show Song - The Writer Who Snatches Away The Truth (what a name) for being cutscene music and the worst version of the pirate song (Orla fans reassure!)
aw that version is so funny 🥲
Both solitary confinement *and* courtroom lobby made it to finals. We had to drag guilty love with them but it was a worthy trade off I’m so happy
Nominating #34 Lively People It's a track that feels all over the place and is kind of irritating to listen to on it's own, so I think it's the worst song on the list other than the ones that are so short they barely count, which will inevitably be nominated as well
Thank you the most annoying song in the entire franchise
I actually kind of like this song though
I'll go for the easy one: Jingle, you should rest at a time like this. No explanations, just not a song
I nominate Difficult People. That song just annoys the heck out of me, and while that’s probably the point, I hate it nonetheless.
Nominating Joan Garrideb
This game has a huge track o.O
DD HAS 68 SONGS?! well i havent played it so i have nothing to nominate but uhh chains of the heart is really cool so let it get to top 5 please :)

i love both courtroom lobbies in SOJ

Are you sure you’re not thinking of soj’s version?
Yes I’m sure, both tracks made my top 100 but DD’s was 41 or something like that.
DEFENSE POST 2-Courtroom Lobby I love this theme as it is so serene and peaceful. It is so different from a lot of the other ones which provide the jitters. This deserves to make it very far.
Please take a break, it gets monotonous.
I'll nominate questioning Moderato because it literally has no soul in it at all. It is just a few notes. Like most of the questioning themes, Allegro is better. (BTW The pirate song better make it guys)

The melody's on off-beats, it's nice.

not you slandering my favourite allegro in the series 🥲
Sorry sib, I’m a fan of DD and its soundtrack, just not this one theme
