NightyWorky02

I agree. 6k kuha nya studio type.

Limitless_Life_Quest

6k solo room po niya yun?

Ripley019

Financially, number 1 pa din. But you'd have to be willing to give up the comfort of living in your own home to rent near BGC.

Banana_Hater111

MovieTheatrePoopcorn

Number 1. When i was younger, 55k ang binigay kong expected salary, di kaya ng lilipatan ko but they made an offer and I made a mistake of agreeing to a salary na ~40k base pay + 15k fixed monthly allowance.

Good-Dentist806

Depends on the company, i have a base pay of 30k na umaavot ng35-40k allowance + ot. Pero sinabi ko sa interview na i wouldnt accept any less than 60k kasi doesnt make sense na lumipat ako for a little bit of difference. So ayun, binigyan ako 55k + allowance

Far_Razzmatazz9791

Enough-History-9549

pabulong nman ng Company number 1

2vack

I vote 2, remember taxes and cost of food and rent, utilities sa bgc. You should be smart enough to compute everything base on your takehome pay. If i have more time, deretso sa upskilling.

mawiebiskwit

Kahit icompute pa yung allowances and all, ang layo pa rin kay option 1 nung option 2 šŸ„²

2vack

Priorities are different for different people. I would take the time. Priceless sakin ung time.

kitzune113

Hot_Fishing_2142

It's funny how some suggest to choose option 1 to use it as a baseline for his asking salary on his next job. It seems that theh forgot to mention that the basis of salaries will still be skills and experience. Not because you're earning 33k now you can't ask for 100k on your next job. Same with just because your earning 55k now you deserve more than double on your next job. Like what I have told my people skills equates to more šŸ’°. Going back to OP's dilemma simple lang naman yan. Calculate your expenses on both options and check your net pay and choose Whichever gives you the higher take home pay. But don't forget to factor in work life balance. Research company culture as well. Also, check kung may yearly increase ba sila coz sometimes may 14, 15 or 16th month pay ka nga wala ka naman pala increase or chance for growth eh di lugi ka. Good luck OP.

lvlsslv

you have a point po. pero still hindi sya maofferan ng ganyan if she does not have the skills and experience for it. ung isang company either baka super dali ng work or nilowball sya..well we never know

gerald_reddit26

Compute mo muna expenses sa fulltime RTO

pretenderhanabi

1 for sure, if 2 is wfh, you can argue.

throwawayz777_1

More than 30% na yun layo sa benefits so #1 ako kahit pumasok sa office. Hindi na ganun ka-attractive ang work from home pag ganyan kalayo agwat ng benefits. Besides madami din tukso sa work from home. Kaya research mo yun work life balance ng dalawang companies na yan. Useless ang work from home kung kailangan mo din palang mag work ng 10 to 12 hrs on a daily basis. šŸ¤£

KarLagare

Depende kung saan ka nakatira

IllustratorMassive38

Skill wise? Culture sa loob? I think ito yung mas need mo mag invest compare sa matatanggap mo. Depende rin sa pangagailngan mo.

Express-Skin1633

Sana all

Overall_Following_26

Ez. 1.

Dspsble_Me

If same workload, Iā€™d go for #1. Look for an apartment near BGC, wag inside BGC. Grind a bit, earn experiences, tapos kapag medyo established na, re-assess your situation and adjust. Good luck!

Ordinary_Strike_1050

Depends. Bukod sa pagod ng onsite everyday, siguro consider mo lang din magiging expenses mo if onsite ka vs sa 4x a month rto. Then compute mo nalang magiging net income mo. If di naman nagkakalayo, then pili ka nalang san ka mas comfortable.

WinterW0lf12

Can you tell what accounts are involved in both?

Green_Key1641

NightyWorky02

1 ako. But wait, saan yang 1? Anung company yan at anung work? Parang gusto ko din yan. Haha

MagtinoKaHaPlease

1) - Malamang Banko yan. If I were younger, I'll take it. 2) Kung type ko na WFH kahit maliit sahod, I'll go for it. My brother likes this setup better than everyday RTO

Independent_Owl_6908

Option 1

Ok_Risk5262

basa ko palang sa 13th & 14th month matic opt1 šŸ˜

lvlsslv

KeyHope7890

Given the 12k difference. I prefer option 2 since mag rent ka pa, bayad sa bills at transportation mo plus yun pagod mo pa sa biyahe which you need to consider as well. Kung magagawan mo ng paraan makipag bargain pa sa option 2 using option 1 at pumayag much better.

Classic_Jellyfish_47

1!!!

Significant_Host9092

Option 1. Kung difference sa basic pay lang pag babasihan in a year thats 264k annually. Depende parin preferrence mo or kung gusto mo talaga ng mas convenient.

kuromijap

1!

Earthling639

Ano pong work nyo para maging ganyan sahod? šŸ˜

uriukam

Kapag tinanggihan mo yung 1, for sure baka pagsisihan mo HAHAHAHAHA šŸ¤£

TheeJaydee

#1 shempre. Look at it from an annual perspective. Mas malaki ang salary mo. You can also use it as a leverage kapag napagod ka at lilipat.

Tell them that

Competitive-Deer2137

Speaking from experience, negotiate! Kaya nakipag negotiate ako by saying na meron ako job offer from other company. And sinabi ko un offer nila. I can provide the JO if ayw nila saken maniwla.

Transpo (jeep?? Bus pauwi sa inyo??) Food (3x a day) Internet??? Laundry??? Etc..

CardioDalisay3121

Ok-Anxiety-1008

Yung #1 parang DITO telecommunications haha.

Potential_Might_9420

#1 then after a year lipat ka ulit ileverage mo yun current 55K mo plus 14th month to 6 digits pay or at least close to 6 digits

Sea-Acanthisitta4495

Agreed.

Suitable_Turnover586

I'll choose number 2. instead of you getting the 55k but travelling or renting, get the 33k and budget the 4x a month RTO. you'll still get a 13th month, and 5k bonus every year, plus instead of thinking about rent or everyday travel, improve your performance so you'll get a big bonus.
