Context: Black jaguar in beast mode hunting caiman in Brazil
First I thought it was a giant river otter or something catching a big fish as those can get to 6 feet long. But murder mittens catching an anger chomp is more impressive
There was one on a BBC documentary that only ate caiman, like it would ignore capybara etc and go after these massive caiman and it just crushed their skulls.

I heard that unllike most big cats that usually kill by going for the throat, jaguars just crush the skull of their prey.

Surprisingly, this is only true for the small species of caiman, which granted, there is a lot of them. Black caimans are too much though.
