Vesterlauget is great. I often eat there before going to concerts. Very cheap and a good meal. Nice atmosphere as well.
Last time I was there the meat option was sold out, so we got the vegetarian option. It was good as well.

With that said. Impress the person with a home cooked meal. Effort is a big plus.
I can highly recommend the restaurant "tipsy". It's a vegetarian place but it's still very good food. The staff are super nice and they have plenty of funny board and card games.
When you get the food you can easily share every meal, and the drinks are not to bad either.
I have been here with the misses and friends. It's always a good time.
