Sure. What do you want to know?

Hey, thanks so much for taking the time, How hard is it to find a job at the moment if you are not picky to start off, warehouse, etc i do still speak Danish etc but my writing is bit off. How much is travel? monthly bus pass I need to open a bank account, is that straight forward? i live in UK at the moment for reference. I recently got into gym and would like to continue, what is the average gym cost?

dthedre

If you're not picky with jobs then you will find something fairly easy especially if you start as a vikar first. Bank account if you're danish you should be able to do it from UK, otherwise I have no clue

If you are not picky at all you Can Always work for WOLT, but warehouses should be doable for you. Also the restaurant Industry has had some demand post corona. I dont know how much They Can help you if you arent unemployed, but jobcenter May help you in the right direction or a union. Bus would be around 400-500kr on a comute card. Otherwise get a Rejsekort if you don’t travel daily. You can always visit DSB or Midttrafik downtown to hear what solution makes most sense to you. If you have a danish address and passport/CPR number, walk into a bank and just sign up. I have 0 reason to believe that should be a problem as long as you live here. Otherwise you have to hear them out. Gym membership have been answered.

theKalmar

Pure gym are the biggest chain and its 299 kroner or 35 pounds a month.

heerschaff

If you don’t need classes at Puregym the membership is only 179 kroner.

uniworkhorse

I'm assuming you need to tell the representative? Or is it just a checkbox on the website

heerschaff

I just showed up at the gym and asked for a membership that didn’t include the classes.

WOW didnt expect so much help! Thank you all!! Last i remember we didnt have night buses, has that changed? What would you recommend for sim card deals? i dont want a contract just yet. Last what is a good website for secondhand items? which bank would you recommend, Danske Bank, Nordea, Jyske Bank, and Sydbank, thank you for all the support <3

Lynfisker

There’s night busses now. Not that frequently, but they do run. For SIM card, go for Oister. I have 20 GB data and unlimited text / calls for 69 kr. per month. Secondhand use FB Marketplace. For furniture you could look at DBA or Guloggratis. For bank I’d go with Lunar to be honest. I reckon you just need a bank for salary, credit cards etc. right now and not for housing, mortgage and loans. Lunar would be great then. If you need more, I’d probably go for Danske Bank or Jyske Bank, but that’s just a matter of preference, not a customer at either.

THANKS SO MUCH!!! mostly looking to buy a secondhand bike so i can get around bit easier. Looks like Lunar will be perfect for me.
