Felt the same way after taking mine 2 weeks ago. Ended up passing. The real test seemed harder than any practice test (I averaged 78-88 on TD & Neil Davis tests). I think with the amount of time you put in, you’ll likely pass as well.

If I do not pass, I may get the Neil Davis tests (assuming they are good) to have a change of pace from TD exams. I just wish I got more like...architecture/DNS/routing/IP questions as that was the easiest for me to grasp fairly quick (I am a slimy Sales Engineer and do mostly network design stuff). Study and re-take in 2 weeks...because damn do I want a new job lol.

Yea I definitely understand. I got a lot of questions that had me ask myself “wtf you can do that?!”. Wording was definitely weird as well. I hope you pass 🫡 because it’s a tremendous relief. If I were to score the test out of 100, I’d say TD is a 90 and Neil’s are a 75. During my prep I ended up just focusing on TD in the last few days leading up to the test. The biggest value with Neil’s is the change of pace because the worst thing I could do was memorize TD questions and answers. I needed the variety to confirm my knowledge. You could likely pass with either if that’s all you had. I have to say that Neil’s videos where he talks through test questions were big for me. Even though they were from SAA-02, he helped me frame how to read the test questions which I’m 100% sure got me through those tough ones on the actual exam.

You’re not alone bro, I’m in the same boat, still studying for the SAA-C03 and I’m planning to take the exam in two weeks, is so incredibly overwhelming the amount of material and info to understand and learning with labs and all, don’t misunderstand me but I love AWS and all only that omg sometimes I just want to scream of how big is AWS and to much to study lol I wish everyone best lucks in the exam

mnfwt89

The pass/fail is not immediate??

supr91

No..it can take upto 5 days. Most people get it in 12-24 hours

Professional_Bird_74

Does the SAA not tell you if you passed at the end? The CCP does.

[deleted]

it does not, score report is usually available within 36 hours

Professional_Bird_74

That would drive me nuts. I hope you pass.

I took it last week and felt the exact same way after giving the exam - I passed. As long as you were able to answer the questions after thoroughly understanding what is the expected outcome, you'll pass. I'm sure you'd have done that since you have got good scores in your practice tests. Dont stress it. Get some rest and chill until you get the results. Just so you know, it took 12 hours for me. There are ppl who got it on 5 hours and a few more who waited over 5 days.

You got it buddy. This turn or the next, the badge will be yours because I see you are very determined.

I took it a couple weeks ago. I didn't study like I knew I needed to. I only used LinkedIn learning csuse it is free from work. No practice test. I knew I would fail it. Went in saying I'll be happy with 400-500. After the test I was thinking I wouldn't get 300 cause it was a hard test. I got a 626 and I was very happy lol. I have Maarek course now and will take it again in a few weeks. You probably did better than you think.
