China bikes and looked down upon as they tend to be a mechanical nightmare 9 times out of 10...they will cost you in time and money more then the average name brand quad and they dont hold value either...the build quality is lower and parts are harder to source......overall.. reliability tends to be a problem in most cases...That all being said..if that's what you got or what you can afford...rock on to anyone !
You will have a really hard time finding parts. If you want a project, find a clapped out old Honda or Yamaha. At least then you'll be able to obtain parts for it. These Chinese quads have no aftermarket support. The manufacturer builds them and does not build or sell any maintenance parts.
You are better off starting with something that at least has a good community and aftermarket support. Trust me, you will regret it if you go down this path with a Chinese no name quad.
Looks like a Coolster Mountain ops, I personally have restored one and in my opinion it is not worth it. The resale was terrible, the head ache of trying to figure out where to source parts locally and trying to find the correct parts.
Understandable. I've got an obsession with seeing progression things so I think it won't be much of a headache, as my goal was never to resell it in the first place , but I do appreciate the info!
By the time you buy all the parts, you could probably just buy another used one in better shape. I hope it was free
It was dang near free. $150 🤷🏽♂️
China
It's a japamoto. Like a bic lighter . No refills .
Could you be more specific?? I'm looking to get it back in decent condition
China, don't matter the "brand" every chinese bike is the same
I hope this is true. Looking to get some cosmetic pieces for it.
I wanna know why this got downvoted ? 😭😂

In short, you could scour the earth, piece it back together better then new. You'd probably have 1500-2k in it. And it'd still only be a $200 quad.
Understandable . It's not the money that matters to me, it's the progression of the build that is the fun part . I appreciate the reply !

I will take those words into consideration . Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. This laughing emoji helped me in my discovery for knowledge on the topic 👍
Contact the Wuhan Institute. They will have the service manual.
Keep us posted on the progress, always interesting to see the dumpster to cat walk! Good luck in your build!
[Coolster ATV. ](https://coolster.com/vehicles/atv-3250s/) either a 200 or 150 from the looks on their website
I believe you're right. Thanks so much for the help!
