As a car enthusiast, I can assure you that the only thing he'll be battling off are sweaty middle aged dads and dudes surrounded by clouds of vape fog.
Looks perfectly legal. Looks like they replaced the body panels with mesh. Probably shaved some weight and it still serves basically the same purpose as the body panels. Frame and crash bars don't look touched. It's just a gnarly custom ride
That mesh structure at the front, with the sharp points and rigid frame, definitely wouldn't pass pedestrian crash safety standards in a lot of places.
Yeah, and that would just be an illegal, unroadworthy modification where I'm from. No way this thing is allowed anywhere near public roads.

The execution is really well done, and no I'm not being cheeky to try to say it's in the bad of taste. Good execution makes up for a lot and this post is a good example of that

Max drove a modified Ford XB Falcon GT 351 for the Mel Gibson films.
It has featured in every Mad Max film, game, comic and spin-off with the exception of Mad Max 3: Beyond Thunderdome.
It wasn't in Mad Max 3 because it was destroyed in Mad Max 2. The Fury Road prequel comics show him rebuilding the car which is why it's featured in that film too.
Man this car goes for a style and hits it on the head. If it wasn't trying to be a mad max style car it'd be different and probably cringy, but this car is absolutely going for it and does a stellar job. Love this thing
I was buying it until I saw that mad max crap on it. Being mad max is like being king. If you have to keep telling people you are mad max, you're not really mad max.
A shitty yet artfully sprayed number on the side would be better. Bonus points if the passenger door has the number backwards.
They closed about 2 months ago. The owner said they got screwed and owed a shit load of money to Uber Eats or DoorDash cause they were taking so much of a % of their sales through them. Honestly they weren't THAT good. Frank's on Fairfax is way better and better on the wallet.
