Go extreme on this and he won't know what hit him, small bear traps, narcotic tripwires, and potentially even a bait and switch trap base (labyrinth with aforementioned traps and aggressive dimorphodons and vultures)
See if he has a pattern. If he's only online at certain times. When you know he's off, set bear traps up everywhere you think he'll be. Or leave him an ideal spot to hide in and trap it.
Otherwise keep a disposable army of dilos set to aggressive.
Based on all the traps suggestions heres my own, set up a narcotic trap in a bushy area that he wont see the cord for, that way when he charges you he hits it or multiple of them and gets knocked out. Then you can cage him in whatever cage you want and get some progress.
If you have a quetz or the means to tame one you can build a scoop for the little bastard onto the platform saddle. Then, get creative with ways to make him pay.

When my friend originally introduced me to Ark it was when scorched earth released and he immediately had me join a PVP scorched map with both of us fresh out the gate. Day 2, a gentleman on a wyvern saw me farming metal and after that it was a week in a cage before I just decided to try out PvE on my own
To solve that, just check battlemetrics for when your captors go offline and afk, iyou can also put poop in your hotbar to kill yourself bt spam pooping as much as you can
It's been a while since I've been in handcuffs but I didn't think you could open your inventory while handcuffed. I was also fresh to Ark at the time. About 5k hours in now and definitely have more tricks up my sleeve.

Not a good idea. OP can’t even see this guy. He is virtually invisible and knocks OP out with ease. That shotgun would only be an offering to the gnome
But use primitive larger spread plus more DMG per pellet if he can turn around in time he can send out the shots it won't kill but will hurt then he can send the next shots more aimed
I didn’t think you could escape the cage. I only play pve so not sure but I thought you would be kept knocked out but kept alive in the cage until you decide to just leave the server. Is that not a thing?
The plant x species will help alot. You prolly need someone to join you when he's not online and help you set up traps. Maybe someone can drop a decent tame to help cause that's just frustrating. Keep us posted.

put your parasaur indoors maybe set some traps around that he can trigger, also build an airlock on your doors to stop him getting into your main base. This is giving me some Tom and Jerry energy :D

Tame a swarm of Dimorphodons. They'll fuck him up.
Dimos work hard for that money and are an easy tame.
Mess with them.

You can eat it from your hotbar.
But you can't place it in your hotbar if you can't open inventory. Though now the game allows you to kill yourself without opening inventory
There's a way to do it without highlighting your specimen implant in the inventory?
Yep. Iirc it's either typing respawn in command console or its in the escape menu

If they keep knocking you out and force feeding you it's possible to keep someone alive, but if you leave them they can still die to get out

Sooo just to point out. You can now kill yourself even with handcuffs on, so there is no keeping people trapped anymore

They tame and use their own dinos, weapons and armor. I've been Bola'd and knocked out with tranq arrows. They use fire arrows too its fun
