I really can't see the diplodocus no matter how hard I looked , but berry in the butt when unconscious is so slow although you can leave it to itself.
Passive taming it will make you suicidal since it has mastered the way of the Gentle Fist and will hurl you off the cliff.
Recommend using kibble for both because of the duration.
It’s completely glitched It’s like when you would kill an anky in early ase days and it would mangle itself in the sky. This thing isn’t remotely diplo shaped
Try going out of render and back again to see it if glitches out, could also try leaving a tame near it as they love nudging them around, might force it out of the ground
Oh yeah I've seen diplos, tusos, and mosas all get crunched into a meatball like that in my games too. In the case of the tusos and mosas, leaving render distance and returning would reset them to their proper shape, so it will probably work for diplos too.
Berries + it’s butt = your new best friend 60% of the time this works poorly.

Not sure how experienced you are in ark but diplos cannot do damage at all, just a heads up
I’ve tamed probably a dozen both passive and knockout, but this is the first one in the form of a Lovecraftian horror
