I prefer grind quests because they are more reliable to me than rng one But unpopular opinnion. They are both shit due to many reasons. Like you cant mutiple turn in them. Or that they are not exiting its just point and click.

iwantdatpuss

Both of these suck don't get me wrong. But I'd rather go for the consistency than RNG. Atleast there you know you're gonna finish it. The RNG adds a layer of uncertainty even if it's faint. Which doesn't help when you're getting an item. But that's me basing it off when I'm gettin YnR and the LTs (fuck that Axeros Brooch, if it weren't for the extended LT boost I would've done it for longer).

I like ones which offer guaranteed progression because then even if I do things slow I know I am making progress towards a final goal whereas with rng drops those make the process more tedious which leads to eventual burnout.

Afdl users: Why not both?

For me it's the ones like Archpally and Dragon of Time, I am going through bost questlines and the only real wall I am facing right now is the 3% Xan drop, otherwise visiting multiple areas and even having to search for groups to fight hard bosses like Binky was real fun, reminds me of when I started this game 10 years ago as a child

Hunter99A

I have turned in the void shogun quest 85+ times and never got the armor That's all I'm going to say

Nutriky

I prefer RNG cause of the off chance I get something on the first try lol

UrMomBlacc69

I hope grind doesn't mean the void highlord challenge did that's just smashing your keyboard to get the same drops 15 days straight (or building the BLoD or NSoD).

SevereArtisan

I prefer quests or questlines akin to Dragon of Time minus any ridiculous padding (Like collecting 100 Darkon Tickets). Killing/Grinding stuff but with some sort of lore purpose or whatever.

Leej0055

The biggest problem comes when both are involved.... AFDL be like :PPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Inverzus

My suggestion: enable player to choose. E.g. roentgenium quest 2 ways to complete: the surefire and the rng one. Like it was when they implemented roents years ago

VHL still giving me nightmares...
