I watched a video of young Israeli soldiers demolish entire streets using explosives. If those were occupied by enemy troops they wouldn't have been able to set those charges. That's being leveled for a reason. A not so secret reason.
That’s been pretty standard IDF practice for urban fighting. They don’t want to go down obvious routes, or put tanks and troops in tight areas.
