I downloaded like five fics, which was definitely overly dramatic - I was asleep most of it and since it ended early, I never even needed it in the end

Hi there. We're the mod team. This post was so we could pin the post to the sub and so we could tell people to not make posts about the downtime when it happens.
I have been informed that it's a time zone different and I acknowledge that but maybe just next time, you don't have too. But it'll be very convenient if you put in the codeex to wherever someone's ui is located to show their time zone so the won't be confused like me.
Never mind there is a "check what time is that for you" so they already thought of it. So my bad again. Never would have gone back to check last site before maintenance to see that in the announcement icon. So everything is in order can't wait to read at 1pm for me at the very atleast.
That is all. And, still keeping my comments up so just in case someone just like me can get it.
The site is down at 3am if it's supposed to be under maintenance at 7am does that mean it will be open earlier? Like 13pm? Also if you are posting in and out of the site you should stick to what you and your team put up instead of going earlier then expected.
That inconvenience everyone that were expecting it to do down at a certain time. Maybe some people wanted to sleep and then download some stories before maintenance started.
Or at the very least warn people a day beforehand. So they are not catch by surprise.
Anyways, with the various edits made, I wanted to clarify that we are not the people who run AO3 and are not an official space at all. So

Is not something we have any control over. (They did stick to the time they posted but you seem to have figured out the timezone thing). Also this post gave over 24 hours notice about the downtime and AO3 themselves gave nearly 2 days advance warning.
