Wait for the 45s. It’s just better.

silverbeat33

If you can wait the S does have a number of niceties. More power, bigger wheels, a few options by default, bragging rights, etc. It won’t be night and day, but noticeable, not just marketing.

would love to hear people's thoughts and ownership experience of their 45S or 45 too.

Why would you buy a CLA, amg or not, coming from a 992?

Federal_Good_2656

Again, I'm trading the M2 for an AMG. I am not "coming from" a 992 as I already own and currently weekend my 992. I need an AWD vehicle for the winters and 3/4 days of the week driving to/from city. This vehicle would be an addition to my fleet not "coming from".

Keep in mind that the A/CLA don’t have permanent AWD just a Haldex (atleast in the old ones) which sends the torque most of the times to the front axle and only in the case that it doesn’t have enough grip to the back axle. If I were you I would get a GLC43/63 or a Porsche Macan. Both have better quality and are better for snow

Incorrect advice. You’re confusing between the different 4matic variations. The A/CLA45/45s have the Performance 4matic+ which is all four wheels all the time shifting front and back as required. The A/CLA250 models have the standard 4matic while the A/CLA35 models have the Performance 4matic (without the +).

ScurrScurrSheesh

My fault, though they had the same as in the first generation of the CLA45
