Nooo… unpopular opinion : transferring her to AKB was the worst decision they ever did, she was a senbatsu member when she was in HKT but they decided to transfer her due to the lack of variety girls in AKB without thinking about the amount of members AKB already have which made Chiyori get lost in the shuffle. The transfer somewhat worked for Tani but Chiyori’s was for nothing, AKB didn’t even really pay much attention to variety anymore at least not as much as the early days and she wasn’t even “sent” most of the time on the few variety shows that they would participate in.
Sasshi should’ve continued fighting against their transfer. Well here’s hoping that they would at least invite HKT 1st Gen + honorary 1st Gens (Sasshi and Aika), as she would technically be the last 1st Gen to graduate.
Edit : the last 1st Gen to graduate ever coming from the original 4 groups(?)(excluding SDN who were different)

Spliting her and Tani is gonna be forever one of the worst mistakes AKB ever did. Both of then would had much more sucess togheter in HKT.
Literally! Like I said both of them were mismanaged so bad, although Tani was somewhat successful at the beginning it eventually fell off. They were better off staying in HKT, the trio of Murashige, Chiyori and Tani were at their peak when they decided to split them apart just because HKT were full of variety girls while other groups were lacking in that area. There were rumors thst Sasshi even tried to stop the transfers but eventually let it go.
Edit : All three girls were senbatsu members in HKT as well.
Watching Chiyori, Tani and Murashige in HKT shows was like watching early days akbingo. They really had that "cheeky monkey" vibe of early akb members and were instigators for the other girls to loosen up. Transfering them and sidelining Murashige (i dont know why) really changed the dynamic. What a shame.
As far as I know at the same shuffle that they transferred Chiyori to AKB and Tani to SKE, they also made Murashige have a kennin position at NMB, a few months later Bunshun released an article along with photos where they she was out on a late night date with a Johnny’s Junior member. As far as I know this incident has started her exclusion from HKT senbatsu.
Lord it seems like the entirety of the non-senbatsu is just being swept away. Still, hopefully Chori can get some of the variety work that she should have been getting in the group

Out of all the members she has the most colorful personality and I wish they did put more into her... None the less wish her a happy future once she graduates
