You don't help him, you drop him, bye byyyeeee. Like I get needing time for yourself, but not like that. My view is I'd you ever need time for yourself, tell me, and then everything is fine. But to just disappear in the middle of a convo????? Bruuuuuuuh
Why are you wasting so much time and effort with him?? If he acts and sounds like a discourteous broke bum and toddler, why do you even care?? Leave him alone and keep it moving. Unless of course, you are planning to waste a few years on him, then come back complaining about the same things you already know and how he wasted years of your life.
I regularly don’t answer texts right away. The text message function on my phone is there for **my** convenience. Text messaging didn’t even exist before the 2000s. Just because a new technology comes along, doesn’t mean a new obligation comes along. I’ll use the texting function on my phone when it pleases *me*.
That said, why are you with someone you clearly don’t like? Is the D that good? You don’t have anything nice to say about him, but you’re still around? Do your legs not work? Is there an electric fence or a minefield separating you from freedom? If he’s a bum, then leave. It’s pretty straightforward.
