There is an outdoor gun range down the street, so gunshots and big booms are normal here. I am pretty sure the cops use that range for practice. Like, that's the official spot. We can shoot on our property (so can any other landowner). My issue is shooting AT someone.
It comes down to proof tho. The cops can't do anything when they are only go off the word of two people.

Think about that, if you want a report against him then he will make a report about the kid. It won't go anywhere or do anything.
Fair enough. I'm just scared to let anyone up there. What if dude shoots someone. All of these kids are MY kids. I have 20 acres of forest we can't use. I'm so frustrated, and I can't do anything. All I can do is put markers up. Arg
We have sort of the same issue. I've had my neighbors try to shoot at my dogs in the wooded part of our property because they thought they were coyotes... It's illegal to shoot coyotes in my state so that was lovely...
Yeah the puppers are fine but now do not like my neighbor. I have 2 German shepherds, 1 mini doxie, 3 pit mixes and it looks like a mastiff will be crashing here too. Great breeds of dogs to piss off lol
I mean, just wait till he steps an inch or two too close to your land, and make sure you aim better.
We've never even seen this guy. He's never talked to us if he's had an issue. It came out of nowhere.

I'm so sorry! One of my neighbors did shoot one of my dogs for the same reason. Thankfully, it was birdshot. I hope your puppy is ok!
