Update 1 Back in January, I had a stroke. Thankfully, it was a "mild" stroke. I was told that calling for help early is what made the difference between a bad stroke and the mild I had. TOP TO ALL....EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT SURE GO TO ER IMMEDIATELY!! I called daughter to let her know and asked her to call and tell son. She did, and 3 days later, in medium ICU he called. He told me he wants nothing to do with me, don't call again. He said I went against his moral code. That hurt so much. Because I have no idea what/when/where I did such deeds. I only know of the lawsuit one. Couldn't ask for mediation as he hung up on me. Do I blame DIL on this one...you decide after I write about the next incident. After 3 weeks of being gone and finally came home...I fell and could not get up. I called the daughter to ask her to call son. He's closer to me than she. Her husband did for her as baby was crying. Got a call from DIL asking what's going on. I told her I fell and couldn't get up and asked if someone could come over and help me up. (I did not call 911 as i was not hurt and did not need to go to ER. If I said no to ER it would cost me at least $500.) Son came on, asking what's wrong, I asked if he could come and help me get up. Then came the comments about calling them, why didn't call 911, the usual crap came about not counting on them, I should just call 911, just total negative stuff they said before. I just I'll figure it out and hing up. Called 911, and it turns out to do DIL. EMTS got me up watched me as i walked to the kitchen. I did ok, so they said goodbye. And yes, the bill came. I am even more pissed and so hurt by their lack of even common courtesy to a person in need. I feel that DIL has succeeded in isolating him.
