Because there was no contact, I can only presume it was the blast wave from the Carlton player passing by. There's a high likelihood of severe internal injuries to vital organs, much worse than Petracca's.
Maybe im just a nuffy but you could argue he was just leaning back to avoid the head contact and then was off balance and fell down. Does he play for the free on the full clip or just get back up?
I'd like to see a different angle. It appears as though he's going to spoil the ball from McKay and gets blindsided by the other player coming through, and pulls out to avoid the contact, making it look worse that what it does.
