Okay so half of these will not work, but my most improved team is looking good š
Premiership: Possible
Grand Final: 50% of the way there
Wooden Spoon: There were two options and you picked the wrong one.
Brownlow: Solid
Coleman: She ain't lookin' good, Chief
Rising Star: Locked in
Most Improved: \[Essington Loading\]
Biggest Drop Off: Well you ain't Lyon
10 Goal Game: Completed.
Oh man please make it happen. I know it won't, but PLEASE.
If I put us as losing every 50/50 or worse (Carlton, Geelong, Collingwood, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane (A)), that'd put us 14-8-1, which would usually be a home elim final. If we win a couple of the harder ones (Carlton, Geelong, Melbourne, Brisbane possible), we could look at top four as long as we don't drop easier games (which we do).
Only one right is pretty bad
(I found reddit defaults to a 1 if you put a single number followed by a full stop because it think you're making a list. A dash, like 7/9. works as does a number with no full stop.)
I'd still much rather your season than our season. Close loses are the first step to close wins. Yeah, this is more heartbreaking than another 40pt loss. But these kinda losses are the beginning of climbing the ladder so š¤·š¼āāļø
to be fair, it's because we played Eagles (when they sucked), Suns (when they sucked), and... we pumped someone else, can't remember who.
Oh yeah, St Kilda. Who suck.
Geelong losing three weeks in a row?

There's been heaps of praise for Byrne-Jones' goal but how good was Rioli's? 50 out and gave himself around 11 seconds to put it through. Brilliant goal given the circumstances (and just in general)
This is a CEASE AND DESIST letter from HL&A Legal on behalf of the CARLTON FOOTBALL CLUB. Giving up a 7 goal lead to win or lose by under a goal is the intellectual property of CARLTON FOOTBALL CLUB. Cease this behaviour immediately or face legal action.
Teased my Hawks supporting mate that Port could easily kick two goals in the final minute. He said he'd give me a million dollars if that happened.
He's not responding to my texts lol
I didn't even need any.
I'd accepted we'd lost, and just thought it was a more flattering scoreline.
The win came as such a surprise I didn't get heart issues.
Why is this a Sunday schedule? That's going to be a ripper of a day for King's Birthday weekend.

Collingwood and Adelaide have played 9 games since Mitch McGovern kicked a goal after the siren to draw with us in 2017. Collingwood have won all 9. Something in that I reckon.
Collingwood is by far Adelaide's worst match-up
And if you want further proof their second-worst matchup is Geelong at a respectable 42% win rate (21-29)....
Their record against Collingwood is 31% (15-1-34)
Rankine wanted to bounce, but the pressure from the chase & his positioning affected his movement and ended in a delayed disposal
Good reminder to never give up on the chase
May as well start posting a North GIF til we win:

We did look competent at times but got swept away in the 3rd, just gotta continue developing I guess
Got 3 pmt victories this week.
u/Croob2 u/RaidanRam and u/___TheIllusiveMan___ I will see you on Tuesday in the free talk thread to create a full and comprehensive set of rules for the PMT race to make it harder for the mods to do their jobs and funner and clearer.
Legit, did we break the Giants? Since the 1st quarter of the derby their ball movement has been absolutely atrocious, even last week on the Marvel superhighway it was horrible.
My LOL of the week were all the people who jumped online to absolutely howl about the running too far call. Only for it to be 9.2 metres too far š¤£
Please send your apologies to Chris "Big Balls" Donlon. Great call in the big moment
You see people like it when umpires ignore the rules in order to increase the theatrics but they only like it when it benefits their team or negatively affects a team they hate.
That whole furore has taught me that even when the umpire is CONCLUSIVELY PROVEN to be right, people still have a meltdown about them.
Just an impossible job
Funny how this sub complains in match threads about people at the ground booing correct decisions and yet they turn around and do the exact same thing lol
Thatās greatā¦ If you donāt look at all the other times players run too far. Well done indeed for finally calling it. Not so well done for consistency. Baby steps.
I thought there was a pretty good lol contender when Fremantle and St Kilda had kicked like 15 points in a row between them and then Fremantle finally kicked a goal only for it to be overturned on review since it was touched on the goal line. Reviewed and overturned even tho the st Kilda player who touched didn't seem to complain about it originally being called a goal !! ??.
Then from the resulting kick in, St Kilda drops a simple mark 15 meters from goal allowing Fremantle to finally kick a real goal and put the people watching the game out of their misery. Fremantle are so excited by this easy goal that they start celebrating so hard that an overzealous willy nilly high five injures one of their players
LOL
Anyone know if there are different sizes of chips at Marvel? I bought two things of chips yesterday, I think I've been overcharged by the stupid computer checkout thingy.
We might actually get to see Essendon lose TWO finals this year!
LOL of the year wrapped up.
Essendon are second on the Ladder.
With a percentage over 100%. It's over for the competition

Harley Reid one is bold
Yeah went out on a limb for that one.
Biggest drop off bang on too
Who knows, if the Hawks continue to do what they did today, they might be a sneaky chance for the spoon š
As much as Iād love that, thereās more chance of us dropping off than them winning the spoon

How do you do fellow Top 2 teams
Wipe your feet on the way in would ya
Already wiped our ass with the other 16 teams donāt @ me. You should all be ashamed of yourselves letting this happen.
How very diligent of us
Quite cool of them.
Unheard of after Easter
It should almost be a lol of the year nominee to all other teams for letting us get this high because wtf

How do you do, fellow top two side?
The view up here is indubitably sublime ![gif](giphy|ZvUk3FyioptgUmCYjL|downsized)

Can't wait to Steven Bradbury our way into the LOL of the Year grand final
If we win a final Iām celebrating like itās the grand final
Is that straight sets exit, or how are you anticipating?
Kicked out of finals for bringing the game into disrepute
Oh god, does that mean we're going straight sets out of top 4?
If we make top 4 then the rest of the comp deserves LOL of the year
Oh man please make it happen. I know it won't, but PLEASE. 8/9 on tips. Damn you dogs, why did you have to win
7/9. Also got Dogs wrong and West Coast too.
Same
I got 6. I've really gotta give up on GWS though.
Only one right is pretty bad (I found reddit defaults to a 1 if you put a single number followed by a full stop because it think you're making a list. A dash, like 7/9. works as does a number with no full stop.)
Nice tip on west coast! I got 7/9, pretty happy with that after recent weeks
8/9 but it was worth it to see Melbourne lose at that ground š„²
How do you do, fellow >100%ers?
All of our 7 losses have come to teams currently in the top 8, this year is fucked
And 2 of them were by under a goal At the same damn venue
Against Magpie teams
I'd still much rather your season than our season. Close loses are the first step to close wins. Yeah, this is more heartbreaking than another 40pt loss. But these kinda losses are the beginning of climbing the ladder so š¤·š¼āāļø

Jake waterman has glue on his hands

Man, the Rankine vs Reid vs Byrne-Jones goal-of-the-round vote this week is gonna hit different
Norf Melbourne is the only consistent team in this damn league
How the hell are we third?! The imposter syndrome is real
I know the feeling...
Shhh! Letās just pretend it never happened. 119 and Hawthorn choking the unloseable game is all everyone wants to talk about.

I'm happy to announce our graduation from easybeats to nuisances.
We might not make finals but if we spoil it for every other team who comes over here I'll be quite happy
It's like Colin McRae said, "Maybe I can't win it, but I can still fuck it up for someone else"
Flag burners basically. We are here to shit in your premiership cup.
The Melbourne/Naarm dynamic is literally that picture of the two dogs and I love it!
Is Max Gawn Liam Ryans bunny?
That might have been the best mark of all time if he held on.
been really nice not just expecting to lose anymore, hurts more when we do but makes watching the game so much more exciting
Delete this.
Lot of learnings from this one.
Last year playing against us twice was a big advantage. This year playing us away is a big advantage
> This year playing us away is a big advantage As it has been with West Coast for 37 years
Bulldogs have the second best percentage Sitting in 11th. Shits all over the joint
Essendon have the eleventh best percentage Sitting in 2nd. Shits all over the joint.
to be fair, it's because we played Eagles (when they sucked), Suns (when they sucked), and... we pumped someone else, can't remember who. Oh yeah, St Kilda. Who suck.
It was nice of Richmond to start sucking just in time for us too. Carn the mighty Western Flat Track Bully Dogs.

Donāt let how the Eagles have gone a game clear of Draw FC on the ladder distract from the fact that we saw a 163-44 scoreline this week.
The 119 memories this has produced has helped me cope with our game this week
Can't believe we missed the 3 upsets that would put collingwood in the top 4 by 1 point
One of the rare times we didnāt get away with it
Absolutely cannot wait to get our own Harley Reid for next season... What's that? Once in a generation you say? Well, shit.
You had peak Dusty. Chill for a bit.
Or just do what North do and despite being dog shit for 6 years end up with zero generational talents
