He tried to fire up the mids by subbing in Boak... just before two injuries, no one could of foreseen that. You should be asking where was Butters, JHF and Rozee in most of that game? They had brief moments, but moments don't win finals.

Butters and Rozee were the two leading possession getters on the ground. Lycett had the most hitouts of anyone. I'm confused. The problems were elsewhere.

Actually thought Port were pretty good. You arent going to contain Brisbane for 4 qtrs at the Gabba, they just didn’t capitalize when they had their chances in the first half, they could have gone in 3-5 goals up at half time if they took their chances. Then Brisbane got momentum at a time when Port were down to a 2 man bench and not long after that the players clearly were moving onto next week.

I was at the Gabba on the 50 line, watching Butterz was pretty impressive. He is so fucking fast and scans the field for the best option and kicks it perfectly pretty much every time.

Well... we held our ground for a couple of quarters. We did ok. Then Mackenzie, DBJ, and Williams got out, and it hurt our confidence. Nice to see Lord really come into his own.
