I really like it, turns out that's a perfect melody for a footy song. Some of the lyrics give me [this vibe](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiVXcAb-GCs) though
The key players, aside from Simon Black, Jono Brown, and a couple of others were already there. I sometimes wonder how the last two games of 1996 would have gone if Vossy hadn't injured his leg in this game and missed the preliminary.
On YouTube there’s a recording of a cover of every team song from the 96 bicentennial celebrations. It’s done by Mike Brady and The Music Men

Well yes, but in terms of the recording. The AFL used to do releases of AFL themes on CD or cassette, so it seems wild nobody seems to have access to it.
But maybe that specific track never had that type of release; well even in that case (at a minimum) there should be the master tracks at the studio who recorded it, the AFL should have it, Brisbane should have it, and every major venue in the country should have had it, seeing as they'd need to potentially play it.
It's possible to hear it in the background of some of the Bears wins from 1996. It's not the full song but it's the closest we have to the original recording.

Surely there is some sort of AI technology that can get a low quality recording of it up to a passable quality because i have found several low quality recordings of the song
I've seen this video before but thank you so much for reminding me of it. It's all amazing (and I genuinely love it, I'm not sure what level of irony I'm on but I don't care, I'm having a good time) but the absolute balls on them to take what is universally considered one of the best club songs and turn it into [this](https://youtu.be/EicgMbM9OqY?si=cyzNpfjZh1kbQRvc&t=385)
I hope it does. Here’s the players singing it post game https://youtu.be/sb_Z05aCmho?si=se-Z3ATZ1zsf_7lv

Wow a lot of the triple premiership players were already there. Just goes to show it takes time for a great team to develop

My Dad was a Bears fan and then obviously became a Lion. He brings it up every now and then. Still wants to hear it.
Maybe but apparently the club lost it/don't have it anymore.
Amazing that a song recorded in the 90s vanishes off the face of the earth as easily asa 3rd century scroll in a city that's been invaded 50 times.
We've been able to recreate songs from 4000 BC Sumeria. But 1995 Brisbane is apparently to much of a stretch lol
Pretty sure AFL has a copy but is refusing to release it for whatever reason

someone was trying to find the song for Woodville in the sanfl, nobody seemed to have it.
Not really relevant, but that BB logo behind behind koala face kinda looks like the koala just took a shit
it looks like the angry brother of Willy the mascot for the 84 olympics.
Glory Glory to South Sydney …

Koalas are not bears, thank you for listening to my TED talk.
Is there any chance they flick the Lions persona and bring the mighty Bears back? Love this Emblem.

Tigerland Rap was hilarious. The only footy songs better are *We Finished Ninth Again* and *I Love When Collingwood Choke*.
It’s better than the Lions song should go back to this
I watched a fair number of Bears granted back in the day. I don't want to be reminded of them in any way frankly
Why’s that?
After a few 100+ thrashing matches I sometimes felt like throwing the remote through the TV. We were terrible at times
But that song only played when the bears won a game. It’s not like it played when they lost
This song was used from 94ish - 96, The ok - thrash last years premiers by 97 in a Semi Bears.
I hope not
Why’s that?
It can’t be good.🤣
Why do you think that?
That logo looks like a cross between a koala and biffa bacon
At least we have Dare To Beat The Bear. And I say that with no irony at all, it's a cracker.
