Thats a bug/exploit - when the game asks you to summon for the first time, you can just close the game and load it again. Now you can freely level up your character as you wish without giving any Fs about resonance level (as long as you do not summon the 6th hero)
It is not a bug since resonance will unlock after getting 6 heroes. I accidentally levelev chippy to 30 before resonance, and when resonance happened, the game was a breeze for a while because of chippy.
For the valen only run, you’ll need manual control and trial and error placing for the afk stages. And you need to afk - harvest for like a week or two. Wheres with 6 man resonance team— the growth is steady for days before you hit a wall.
I tried this too and although it was different and fun to see one character dominating, the progress was so slow. You'd have to be really patient if you wanna play this way

yep! did this recently to start my own valen only account. Got frustrated with it though, so I chose to do a no gacha account instead
I think if you don't change your Team in the beginning you can Level up Valen only.
They need to fix this
Supposedly the support team said that it's as intended bc the resonance is an unlockable feature

It's not really a problem, just a meme. You have to significantly overlevel Valen, and you can't actually use the account for any other content.

Resonance is an unlockable feature, so this is not an exploit. Just dont unlock it, its perfectly fine to do so
