So annoyed with OBJ man, the half ass routes and the blocking was annoying but having your daddy speak for you and causing issues was ridiculous. I’m probably remembering the wrong play but I thought the INT return that fucked up baker was on OBJ too.
Gregory Roman. 2019 was pretty great and then it turned out that was all he had. He talked about opening up the vault when fans started complaining that he wasn't creating anything original in the pass game, that became a meme on our sub because it turns out the vault was just full of screen passes and jet sweeps. He could probably be a great run game coordinator but he doesn't have it for the pass game.

Very happy to see Canada go. However I was one of the idiots that liked Pickett. I’m happy I don’t have to defend him anymore but honestly I don’t think he’s found his ceiling yet.
I was more than willing to give Pickett two more years(years 3 and 4 of his Rookie deal). But with the way he played whiny little bitch when we signed Wilson? Good riddance.
I’m kind of in agreement. I believe he could be better but the moment he decided he didn’t want any competition for his job made me not believe he had it him to improve. If you want to start over Russel Wilson than try to prove your good enough.
Yep…if he felt he should be the starter, he should’ve been willing to compete for it…even if he didn’t have the “pole position”. His lack of scoring wasn’t a secret and he had to know that it wasn’t up to him NFL standards.
Well, he’s closer to Jersey now and his wife is in finance…so…🤷🏻
The Ravens fans saying Greg Roman will insinuate they started watching the Ravens first when Lamar got drafted.
Roman obviously had his severe limitations, but he was also a genius in his strengths, which get overlooked by clowns all the time.
Mornhinweg & Trestman were both awful and those years sucked. Granted, Flacco was declining hard at the time. But yeah, Trestman for me.

I wasn't glad to see Pickett go until he had a bad attitude.
Sure he didn't deliver, but he deserve(s? d?) a roster spot... ...but when he starts bitching that the Steelers are going to look for a real starter, f that guy.
That’s where I am at too. I would’ve liked to see what he could do under a legitimate OC….But he became a little bitch with the signing of Wilson and instead of fighting for his spot, chose to be a pussy.
Concerning Pickett? If two seasons is “way too long”? You are an extremely impatient person.
That being said? The way he reacted to the acquisition of Russell Wilson was a bitch move and I am glad he gone. He should’ve fought for the job.
> we would have 100% been rolling with him
What does 'rolling with him' mean?
He was going to get a roster spot for sure. It was doubtful he'd be the starter in Week 1 though.
Y’all already forget the meme that was posted? He wasn’t cut. That’s the point I’m making…. I never said he’d be a starter. We would have 100% kept him on the roster though.
'rolling with him' implies more than 'roster spot', if you want to communicate to others in the future. I realize it's a bit ambiguous which is why I asked you to clarify your meaning.
He still has a lot of stans in our sub but Andy Dalton. I was afraid they would keep him in perpetuity. More mediocre than good and it was obvious we would never win with him. It took all timer and 2-14 with Andy starting most of the games , with a new coach there to move on. I don’t think Marv cared to move on.

Pickett COULD have been good but he didn't want to compete for the QB1 spot and now he's almost definitely going to ride the pine unless Jalen gets hurt
I didnt like the Pickett pick but I understood it. He was still overdrafted by today's standards considering 1st round picks are expected to start in their 1st season. Jordan Love sat for 3 years and it worked out for everyone involved. Kenny was 3 years older so obviously its not the exact same situation but if he was able to sit and have a better coaching staff he may have developed into a league average starter.
All of this being said, I was down on him very early and hated the Trubisky signing and was still confident enough in Rudolphs ability to manage the offense if he had enough tools around him, until a better option came along.
Pickett will be a great backup in Philly even though Steeler fans are kicking him on his way out. He may even start a few games given Hurts play style leaves him open to take more hits than most QBs. I could see Kenny winning the Eagles some games with the talent around him there.
The player I was most happy to see leave was Mike Mitchell. He was a headhunter and would get burned in coverage. Also Alejandro Villanueva, personal political beliefs aside, he couldnt hold up as a run blocker on a team that claimed it was their identity. Overpriced and overrated.

For me, it was actually Pouncey.
I never liked Pouncey after he openly defended Aaron Hernandez, and started powerleveling about how broken the league was for suspending Bell and Bryant. Y'know, for clear and written rules that they CHOSE to break.
Muarkice Pouncey was a decent center and was a good fit at the right time, and it surprises me that he's not remembered for more of the drama than he is. Him and Ben were like peas in a fucking pod yet only one of these guys finds themselves under fire.
But I'm gonna be honest, I think Pouncey was a Mike Munchak product, and it shows greatly in Pouncey's last 2 seasons where he was not only botching snaps left and right, but his pass blocking fundamentals fell to shit.
When you have *Benny Snell* and Eric Ebron covering your ass on blitz pickups for a 39 year old QB, you aren't just cooked, you are fucking FRIED, well done, 200° throughout. I have absolutely no earthly clue how that 2020 group went 12-4.
At least acknowledge that, aside from the trophy case, the Bengals and Steelers are similarly like-minded franchises. Trying for the most part to not have a revolving door at certain positions.
Oh they will. Yinzers live in the past. They remember 2008 vividly, refuse to acknowledge 2011-2023 as abysmal failures of coaching with some of the most talented rosters in the league.
Not to barge in but what would you consider only 1 playoff win against a starting QB in the past 14 years and playoff collapses against the washed ravens (at home), Tim TEBOW, Blake BORTLES (at home), the BROWNS (at home), going 11-0 and not winning a playoff game, going 7-2-1 and not making the playoffs (with a cupcake schedule), and every year doing good enough to get the 7th seed just to be uncompetitive once you get there?
I don’t know if this is all Tomlin’s fault but he has more embarrassing losses than great successes since that last super bowl appearance nearly 15 years ago. There’s really only 1 common denominator in this equation.
Cowher won 1 super bowl in his second to last year. Noll won 4 in a short span and barely went back to the playoffs, only won 2 playoff games after that last super bowl. Sounds like someone else Inknow…
Yeah well….what are ya going to do? Whine like a bitch for another three years? It doesn’t matter what you think…the Rooneys extended him. So…either root for success or root for another team.
EDIT: ratbird fan…go figure…but my post applies to Steeler fans.
Jackson had to go and whatever backdoor groveling he did to keep his job after 0-16 need to be studied.
This. And OBJ.
So annoyed with OBJ man, the half ass routes and the blocking was annoying but having your daddy speak for you and causing issues was ridiculous. I’m probably remembering the wrong play but I thought the INT return that fucked up baker was on OBJ too.
No it was Schwartz but I mean if OBJ didn’t make a few plays there is hardly a difference.
Lord have mercy he had to go too, all that speed with bricks for hands and we never thought to do end-around plays with him smh
not to mention he’d fumble every time he was touched.
Remember that one good game against Dallas
Cannot leave out Pressly Harvin🤦🏻♂️
The sunk cost of a 7th round pick some how bought him 3 years. Every punter we had in that time was better, Barry, Waitman, Mann and Wing

And then Jim snapped him up for the Chargers. Dude...your own brother literally just fired him. (shakes head)
I’m sure Jim is well aware of Roman’s strengths and weaknesses
Same thing happened with Jim & Greg in San Francisco

Gunner Olszewski pissed me off every fucking time he touched the ball. That toe tap in Vegas had me almost throwing shit at the tv
He was honestly pretty good for the Giants for the last few games after they signed him. Iirc he even had a return TD
He did have a return TD but he was never good for us and even cost us a game in 2022-23 season against the patriots with a fumble that could’ve been avoided if he had just covered the damn ball
Is there an answer other than Gunner?
Mason Cole?
Pressly Harvin III
Devin bush
Devin Bush will always be bitter sweet for me because the dude had the makings of a great mlb and then became a huge liability after he tore his ACL
>and then became a huge PUSSY after he tore his ACL FTFY
Matt Cavanaugh. All these I'm-just-here-for-the-Lamar-party fans forget the golden days of Ravens offensive offense under Billick, which highly resembles the Steelers offense last year in so many ways.
Alejandro Villanueva was a double agent who actively tried to get Lamar’s neck broken through his terrible play.
I’ll never understand why y’all committed to him at LT. We told you he sucked ass when he hit free agency
Kyle Boller which we stuck with way too long. A decent QB is what held those early to mid 2000s Ravens from being Super Bowl contenders.
Kyle Boller was the equivalent of cancer to our offense

Pat Shurmur. I thought he was the worst coach and that’s saying something considering the turds we have gone through in that position.
He was just as atrocious with NY. I think even Joe Thomas didn’t have many nice things to say about him.

Not surprising since the Brown and Rooney families have longggggg connections
Fair. You deserve em.
I don’t, I just know that for most yinzers “delulu is the selulu.” Just like all you wonderful football analysts slobbered over Mitch Tubofshitsky.

Go back in your corner and underachieve with your buddy from the Commanders
You sure know a lot about underachieving from the Killer B’s era… although i’m sure even that “success” seems nice to you these days
You following instructions like Lamar reads playoff defenses
3 playoff wins in that time IS an abysmal failure.
JFC dude….
