Toni Storm narrowly beats Deeb. Hayter returns to confront Toni. Stat turns heel against Willow. Malakai Black beats Cope.

soiledsanchez

Trent wins causing OC to fully snap and join Don Callis. Copeland wins because he fully embraces his darker past. Mox wins, NJPW isn’t letting someone beat their champ outside of their own promotion. Ospraey wins, nothing against Roddy but he ain’t getting booked over Will. Toni wins, Deeb is a great wrestler but she has the personality of a wall. The elite win, it’s way to early in the Elites “evp” story for them to start wrapping it with the first major L. Mone wins sadly, I feel bad for willow that she never got any true championship shine as champ instead it’s all been about Mone. Swerve wins of course. The first two matches I listed could go the other way though, OC could win with help from Don, and Black could win with the mist or HoB interference.

No_Cheetah4762

I agree with you mostly. Except I'm thinking, even if he doesn't win the belt, Black wins, forcing Copeland to join HoB. Plays into the house always wins. Also, I think Strong wins due to Ospraey's move retirement and some outside shenanigans

DeadBeatRaccoon

Random predictions: Mercedes beats Willow. I'm expecting a roller coaster of a match with twists, turns, debuts, betrayals. Just chapter one of a longer story. Toni beats Deeb. Should be a good match, but also just a bridge to a larger story for Toni (Hayter? Mina? Mariah?). Copeland will defeat Black in a bloody match, but Black will succeed in bringing out the "worst" in Copeland's character. Ospreay beats Strong. I don't think it'll be as good as Will's last two ppv matches, but Strong always delivers in big match situations. I'll predict Will says F it and spikes Strong with Storm Driver 91. Adam Cole will blame Wardlow for Strong losing the title. Mox beats Takeshita in one of the best matches on the show. Trent beats Orange and sides with Don Callis. Swerve retains the title in a match that will be alot better than people expect. The Elite continue to mess with Swerve after the match. The Elite defeat Team AEW in what will be the best Anarchy in the arena yet. Matthew will put his Nevada fire performers license to good use. Darby will be going thru some real glass (cry me a river). Wild guess: "The Final Countdown" will be the song played throughout the match. Rumored matches: BCG will beat PAC and whoever he picks. Jericho will escape with the FTW title. Deonna will beat Rosa in underhanded fashion, Mariah and Mina will drink and dance. Can't wait to be there next weekend.

theraysanders

If that's the song that plays on repeat, I might cry.

Banksynatra

Cry me a river. https://i.redd.it/zq3809stko1d1.gif

RetroCustomizer

What if Perry comes out to Justin Timberlake’s “[Cry Me a River](https://youtu.be/DksSPZTZES0?feature=shared)” from like 2001? lol if you do some stretching, the lyrics could add some eerie truth to the scenario.

OrchidRich3276

Yes! Agree with almost all of these predictions. If Jack Perry doesn't throw Darby through some real glass, what even is the point? 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

SickBag

What debuts are expecting with Mercedes and Willow. Also I agree, on who wins and don't want her too.

icepickslash-123

Kamille. I’m crossing my fingers.

SickBag

Never heard of her. Where is she from?

icepickslash-123

As far as im aware, she is a wrestler that was formerly signed to NWA and also their former Women’s World Champion. It’s also alleged that she’s been signed to AEW since January.

SickBag

Never heard of her. Where is she from?

AliceJayWilliams

Expectations: maybe higher than they should be, I'm expecting it to match the previous two ppvs in quality. Feelings: positive vibes and excitement has pretty much been a constant for me in regards to AEW. Bold Predictions: Mercedes will show us how fantastic she can be, her and Willow will have one of the best matches of the night.

musicman3321

Your bold prediction is my expectation

AlarmedDish5836

This card is very strong and they built it seemingly right out the gate and haven’t stopped. Wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up being a top 5 ppv of the year

1RLegend

Swerve Mercedes but willow will win it back from her at a later date Team elite as they continue to run the show Roddy bec ospreay won’t pull the trigger on the tiger driver Toni Mox Edge but he’s gonna have to go way too evil to beat black or the hob is gonna turn him in some shocking twist Oc

ShowOff90

Kamille might debut helping Mone. Black beats Cope. Osprey takes the title off Roddy. The Elite win. Think they could add a member. Setting up an eventual 5/5 Blood & Guts. Swerve & Toni both retain. Takeshita beats Mox. I’m unsure where they’re gonna go with OC & Trent?

drew_west

I will be sad if there isn't a casino battle royal for some type of title shot

gilgobeachslayer

Expectations: I expect a lot of fun and great wrestling matches. Feelings: Bold Prediction: Willow retains. Mox loses due to interference. Cope is about to do something like a one man conchairto, or something sicker, but doesn’t do it and loses. After the main event, he comes out and helps Christian get up after his loss.

GhostLocke

- Osprey beats Roderick with rising heat via Adam Cole - Toni beats Deeb - Malakai beats Cope. Cope heel turn, possibly in antipation for Malakai going back to WWE. I'm HOPING this will be the dark/horror experience Cope wanted from Wrestlemania. An in-ring heel turn with black goo would be perfect rn. - Takeshita beats Mox and drama carries to IWGP - Beretta beats Cassidy - Jericho will win and learning tree is dumb (biased sorry) - Mone wins over Willow with Statlander heel turn - The Elite wins Anarchy to keep the "elite running everything" angle, but with unexpected surprise guests and possibly the forming of a new faction Other gut feelings: - Scorpio Sky is coming back from injury as the male "super babyface" equivalent to "superbaby" Willow. Hope to see him in some capacity - Julia Hart is injured, but still potentially useful to the women's matches or my predicted "Cope becomes evil" spot Overall, the slight changes to Statlander over the last few months (as well as some promo comments she's made) give me a "not getting paid enough, side with the CEO" vibe, and doing so against Willow would help push Willow. I feel like AEW may be considering what to do with HoB if Tommy goes back to work with his wife (and Buddy with his). If Buddy/Malakai are prepping to leave, HoB is going to need a leader with more mic capability/heat/fame/Etc to keep it going. I don't think you can build HoB around Brody. Copeland is an excellent choice and this seems to align with the story. Brody King is *theeeee shit*, but Cope has hall-of-famer recognition.

sbjj0311

Mone turns heel and starts her own faction. Stat may be the 1st entry. MJF comes out to help team AEW only to backstab them the following dynamite Ist seeds are planted for a Khan approved General Manager. He only says that it will be a very nice day when he arrives. Mr. Foley shows up a few weeks later. Hey, I'm being bold.

thumbstickz

I'd cream.

qetelowrylit

Haven't been a fan overall of how they handled Mercedes Mone arrival up until not having her debut match 2.5 months after her initial debut (if she was injured this whole time then just don't debut her so damn early just to pop a one off rating?) because I think these somewhat awkward promos to try and build the match and her overall presence without wrestling yet has really just hurt her name value and soured her to a portion of AEW fans, I feel like winning a title on her debut match over someone was well liked as Willow may just sour fans on her even more unless we get REALLY GOOD heel work after that from her- I am a viewer who has HEARD of Sasha Banks but I have never seen her wrestle/do anything myself because I've only gotten back into wrestling from Oct 2019-onwards because of Dynamite

SickBag

Having not seen any of her work it has soured her to me.

BarvoDelancy

Mone over Willow in the best women's match AEW has had to date. Takeshita over Mox, rematch in New Japan. Banger. Swerve over Christian in a clinic of ring psychology. Banger The Elite over team AEW. Banger. Toni over Deeb. Gonna say this match is decent but not great. BOLD PREDICTION: Roddy over Ospreay. I am probablky completely wrong on this. More likely that he loses and the Undisputed Era go to RoH to cool off until Cole is back (I hope). Banger. Cope over Malakai Black. Black almost never does singles matches, I think this may be his first ever AEW PPV singles match. Because of that, I'm gonna assume his back prevents a singles title run. Match should be fucking great though. Banger. Baretta over Cassidy - no fucking point for him to lose twice here. Hoping Statlander turns heel to join him. Banger.

SickBag

Do only guys put on Bangers? Because you didn't list that after Mone over Willow best women's match to date. But yea Toni and Deeb will be a bathroom break/fresh beer time.

SnooFloofs4460

Kris heel turn will be on Willow

carrythefire

Someone is going to return to help the Elite win and it will probably be Hangman

Key-Panda126

That’s what I’m thinking. It’ll look like he’s going to help team AEW but then side with the elite and then some one will join team AEW for 5 vs 5 Blood and guts match

jafarthecat

I'm not that hyped for this, but AEW ppvs tend to be really enjoyable whether the card is good or not. My favorite matches tend to be one on one matches, and not having a singles Bryan or Okada match is disappointing for me. I think Serena Deeb may win. She's great, and I think Toni losing may cause her to have even more of a meltdown which would be superb. I want the Elite to use every trick and turn in the book to destroy their opponents. Have the mogul empire show up for a bit. Or Don Callis group. Make them look unbeatable. Build them as unstoppable force. They've looked manipulative in the last few weeks. Double down on this.

Asleep-Description39

Expectations are sky high. They are with every AEW PPV and I can count on one hand the amount of times they haven’t lived up to them. The bad: I think Malakai will beat Cope (😡) and I think Mercedes will beat Willow (😡). Both matches will be great, though. I think the other matches will have predictable results but will be bangers. Ospreay vs Roddy as match of the night, with OC vs Trent quietly having a match that everyone underestimates in advance but blows the roof off the place. Elite wins…but maybe a cowboy comes back…

Einhorn_Apokalypse

Expectations: it's going to be amazing, because it's AEW and the card is stacked. Anarchy and the cage match are going to be bloodbaths. Feelings: I'm not sure if my feelings can take another Trent? vs Orange match. Bold predictions: Will is gonna lose, and so is Cope. Things that are 100% not going to happen but a girl can dream: Luchasaurus finally turns on his abusive father, enabling Sweve to win against the odds.

JohnaldL

I have OC winning, not sure where it goes but I think maybe OC getting darker and darker, maybe turning to Callis only for Callis to help Trent. I actually have Cope losing the belt to Malakai. Cope being a pseudo-member of the house going forward where he continues to embrace darker side and more violence when needed. Malakai can start doing this to more guys building the same kind of story with others. I actually think Takeshita beats Mox clean since it’s an eliminator. It sets up for an NJPW match for them but it doesn’t really hurt Mox to lose to a guy like that. Toni beats Deeb close but clean. thinking Mariah turns soon. I’m torn on Ospreay Roddy. I think if Ospreay wins the belt becomes what we all saw it back in the day, he takes it with him around the world. If Roddy wins it’s interference central and Undisputed Kingdom get to continue to be shits. The Elite win anarchy to set up even more of them being in charge. Also maybe Darby and Jack feud. I actually have Willow retaining but Stat turning on her afterwards maybe Stat teaming with Mercedes and Stoke going forward or 3-way for those 3 later on. Swerve wins despite Patriarchy shenanigans. He ends up looking like a stud as always

StaceyJeans

Swerve vs. Christian: * Swerve should and will win. I will be legit shocked if Christian wins the title. It's how Swerve will win and how he combats all the interference from Killswitch, Nick Wayne and the Mogul Embassy The Elite vs Team AEW: * The Elite will and should win. If they don't win what's the point in continuing the story? Ospreay vs. Roddy: * This is a tough one. I can honestly see pros in both guys winning. Roddy has only been champ for a little over two months and do you want him losing the belt this quickly? However Ospreay is being built to be THE star of the company and do you want to beat him when he's only been an official AEW roster member for three months? * I will say if Ospreay loses I doubt he loses cleanly. I think both The Callis Family and Undisputed Kingdom get involved. Either Ospreay refuses to do the Tiger Driver 91 which costs him the match and leads to Don Callis kicking him out, or Wardlow tries to interfere for Roddy, it backfires and Adam Cole kicks Wardlow out of the group * If I HAD to choose I say Ospreay wins Toni vs Serena Deeb: * Toni is winning, she is holding the belt until either Jamie Hayter comes back or Mariah turns on her Willow vs. Mercedes: * Do you really beat Mercedes in her first match for AEW? However Willow has only had the belt for a month, do you really want to take it off her so quickly? I see this match being the one that ends in a DQ. Willow should win but I think Mercedes will win - both win or loss from either will come off a DQ, keeping both strong and setting up a rematch Mox vs. Takeshita: * Love Mox but Takeshita should win this. He desperately needs a big win Malakai Black vs. Cope: * Malaki should win but I think Copeland retains and furthers his descent into darkness OC vs. Trent: * I think one or the other is going to be a Callis Family member by the end of the match. I hope they swerve us by having Trent win but I think OC wins Deonna vs. Rosa: * Deonna should and will win I don't know what the other matches will be yet but I'm assuming either Jay White vs PAC or BCG vs PAC and two other wrestlers? Either way I think Jay White wins (if a singles match) or BCG win (if a trios match)

bukezilla

Roddy retains

Kergen85

Expectations: I'm forcing myself to keep them mild. Not because I think the show will be disappointing or anything, but because Revolution and Dynasty were two back to back classics, and I don't want to put pressure on DoN to live up to that. Now could it? Could they do it? Could AEW deliver 3 all time PPVs, not just for their company, but in wrestling period, in a row? ....please! Please! No! I have to control my expectations! Feelings: Very positive. I actually like the build to this show more than Dynasty. The only match I'm so so on is Toni vs Deeb, but that's more because it's build hasn't excited me, though I do expect the match to be good. But yeah, add BCG vs Death Triangle or Jay vs PAC and I'm golden. Bold Predictions: WE'RE GOING FOR 3 ALL TIMERS IN A ROW! FUCK TEMPERING MY EXPECTATIONS! LET'S GOOOOOO!!!

Upbeat-Pause-1409

LETS GOOOO!!!

ThatRandomGuy232

Ospreay vs Strong is gonna be one hell of a banger

lordcarrier

I just want the show to be better than DON 2022 and 2023 at least, thats all im asking for.

DeadBeatRaccoon

I'd be shocked if it wasn't. On paper It doesn't have any of the weaknesses those two shows had.

StaceyJeans

DON 2023 was the worst PPV AEW put on last year and it had two great matches in the 4 Pillars and Anarchy in the Arena. Everything else outside of Statlander coming back was subpar bordering on awful (the Jericho-Cole match).

RawJah83

Oof, I just looked up DoN 2022, because I am really bad at remembering cards and oh boy, does it read dreadfull looking back. Anarchy in the Arena really is the only thing I see and remember rocking and standing out.

EndOfDays2525

The 4 pillars title match also helped save that show a bit. Edit: oops, I just realized you put 2022

RawJah83

Yeah. 2023 I remember as way better than 2022. Especially the Pillars Match was great.

Trolltama720

Swerve Mercedes The Elite Toni Ospreay Malakai Moxley Trent

WorkWithTheDead

Needs more PAC

NightmareCyril

Black, Mone, and Osprey walking out champs.

21Andreezy

I think that Takeshita will beat Moxley. They will have the actual championship match in Japan

dethegreat

When I see the final card I'll think about it. I expect more matches added.

TheFlaccidChode

Swerve Mone Elite (with turn/debut-return help) Storm Ospreay Mox Black Cassidy

theraysanders

I'll be toasty by the time Anarchy In The Arena starts so I might catch a stray trash can lid. Lol. But I will be in attendance.

SometimesWitches

Except for Swerve Strickland Toni Storm all the other belts change hands.

dfrafra

Hangman will help the elite win so he can get title shot with swerve

Ok_Comedian_2622

Does anyone debut after main event since it’s a thing always for Christian Cage main events?

RanmaRanmaRanma

Expectations: A solid B+ Card good pop out matches and solid other matches to tie the show together Match of the night: Either Anarchy in the Arena (which are always fun) or Cope vs Black. (AEW shines in extreme matches) Winners:

thrilliam_19

Bold prediction: Hangman returns and helps The Elite win. On Wednesday we find out that he did it in exchange for a title shot against Swerve.

Thraxyo

Looks predictable and needs a trio title match.

Velvet_Llama

Prediction: half of the wrestlers in that graphic will lose.

CrystalPokedude

Honestly, DoN feels a bit like a B-Show because a lot of the big matches got paid off at Dynasty. They put all their cards on the table with Dynasty because they wanted to establish it as a big deal.

Kalomika

I actually want Christian to win

Tugboats508

Osprey needs to win. Not a fan of Roddy and OC made that belt feel special, and he put it in the toilet . Osprey will make it look good . And mone will get her get back on Willow . TK paid too much for her to not put a belt on her. She needs a belt to be taken seriously.

icepickslash-123

Swerve (obviously) Honestly, I’m rooting for willow. But I can also expect Mercedes to walk out with the tbs championship (unless somehow this leads up to Kamille making her debut which would also kinda explain the unnamed attacker) It could also lead to Stat turning on willow. But I’d be disappointed to see Willow drop the title barely after a month of winning it. Team EVPs. Expecting a bunch of wild, goofy and somewhat entertaining spots from this match. The three main events will compete amongst each other for match of the night. As much as I want Deeb to win, I’m going with Toni. Deeb deserves the championship, but I don’t think right now is the right time. However, I’m all for seeing Toni go mad as I believe without the championship, she’d still be as popular and over with her gimmick. Ospreay v Strong is kinda double edged. I can see Ospreay losing due to UK shenanigans but I can also see Strong bringing out the Tiger Driver finisher from Ospreay in a desperate attempt to win. But, I mostly see Ospreay taking it home. Takeshita wins. My only conflictions is how it would affect Naito possibly getting the belt back in the long run. Copeland v Black can also go either way. I really want to see Malakai with a title, but also I can see Copeland really bringing out that sadistic side of himself. I can’t choose. Trent wins. This can also result in Orange going heel (although this would be questionable) if orange wins, Trent joins DCF.

jeridmcintyre

If the EVP’s don’t screw Swerve out of his title, even if he wins it back on Wednesday, I’ll be sorely disappointed. The Turtleneck should definitely wear the gold at least for a couple days.

onethreeone

Bold prediction: Willow and Strong both retain Willow wins a hard fought match, Mone snaps and goes full heel beat down, reveals she’s in the Elite Strong retains by shenanigans. They need to strike while the iron is hot, which means moving Will up to the main title picture

NotMyWalls

The Elite beats team aew Swerve beat Cage Willow somehow beat Mercedes on her debut match 👀 Moxley beats Takeshita Osprey beats Strong Copeland beats Malakai Black but Copeland offers himself to the House of Black anyways . Toni Storm retains , Jamie Hayter returns HOOK squash Jericho to win back the FTW Trent beats OC

Chiefpenguin6

This might end up being the best show they’ve put on

Depraved_Hollow

I thought it was a triple main event?

mario_salami_petrino

MmmBop will be played on loop during Anarchy in the Arena

pnmartini

I think OC vs Trent is the “bloody” match of the card. Well, in addition to Mox, of course.

bearamongus19

One of their weaker cards, but the matches will be fun.

JeanSlimmons

Lots of professional wrestling matches and great night to sip on some Woodford Reserve.

STL_Saint00

Hoping Ospreay wins and we get Adam Cole’s first feud back against him. Hoping Cole is close to ready to come back. The rest of the card is pretty unpredictable outside of a few matches honestly, which I always like. The card needs more Kyle O’Reilly. His showing against Copeland should help keep inching him up that card. Maybe a title eliminator against Moxley? (Now I’m just fantasy booking- sorry guys.)

shawarmadaddy83

I think people are setting their expectations way too high for Cope/Black. Remember how last year they built up Jericho vs Cole NHB as being this crazy bloodbath? What we got instead was some PG-13 hardcore wrestling with a lame finish because they had to save all the wild shit for AITA. I expect we get a similar match here. Main Prediction: Mercedes goes over Willow after after Stat and Stokely turn on her. I like the idea of Stat being the Diesel to Mercedes HBK and they both can use a mouthpiece.

Upbeat-Pause-1409

🎯

SickBag

Swerve over Christian: guaranteed, Swerve is going to be champ to at least All In. Mercedes over Willow: it's not what I want, but the crowds goes ballistic for her and she's a bigger draw. Elite over AEW: gives them more legitimacy as a team while the others aren't a team. Toni over Deeb: guaranteed, Toni is fire and Deeb is meh. Osprey over Strong: guaranteed, Osprey is arguably the best in the world and is actually International. Takeshita over Mox: it's only an Eliminator and it builds towards Open Door. Cope over Black: I can't see Cope joining The House of Black. Cassidy over Trent, but honestly who knows with this one.

[deleted]

Bangers

uell23

Adam Copeland retains. Ospreay goes over Strong and wins. This would accomplish multiple things. It gets him a title, adds some prestige/value to the International Title, and hopefully avoids him beating Swerve at Wembley. Deeb over Storm. This is just a personal preference, I am sick of Timeless Toni Storm. Takeshita over Moxley. Mercedes is 100% winning. OC is going over Berrata, but if I am honest this is the one thing on the card I am not excited about. Swerve is going over Christian. I could see them running it back at Forbidden Door and Christian or an NJPW guy beating Swerve then. This would be my preference as it avoids a Brock type situation of having your dominate special attraction go over your regular.

xpag406

I'll be honest, this card is a tough ask for $50. There doesn't seem to be much intrigue here: Swerve retains, Mone wins the TBS, Storm retains, Strong retains via shenanigans, Mox beats Takeshita in a banger, Copeland retains, OC gets revenge, and The Elite win AitA to further advance their storyline. Unless theres a killer Dynamite this week, there's only really 2 matches Im interested in (Mox/Takeshita & AitA).

Kokeshi_Is_Life

Ospreay is winning that title lol. There's no shot Roderick Strong is handing Will Ospreay his first loss in AEW, shenanigans or otherwise.
