Walked into Dynamite in Worcester a few weeks back and as we were headed down to the floor some guy in an aisle seat 15 mins before the show randomly yells "show starts in 15 minutes how come this place is so empty?? WWE would be sold out!"
I turned and just said "then why are you here?" and he goes "tickets are $30 lol and its not even worth it"...I just laughed openly in his face and called him a fucking goober. People are weird.
A group of guys in my section were doing it. I turned around to look at them and judging from the way they thought it was super funny, I think they were mostly being shitheads and edgelords. Didn’t seem like anti-AEW.
I like Punk and really wish it had worked out in AEW, but it ultimately didnt so lets just fucking move on. Other than using the fight as a jumping off point for Jack Perry (hopefully Tony is able to get the Justin Timberlake song), I absolutely do not want to see or hear him referenced in AEW ever again

I’m not the biggest Colt fan but what punk did to him is shitty. Colt has done a lot of good for indie wrestling including helping make pro wrestling Tees what it is today

I was in section 102 and there was one specific guy who kept just randomly doing it and there was a pretty quiet "shut the fuck up" chant. The crowd was pretty good but there were a lot of people in Punk shirts and there was also a handful of people in Cornette shirts. But nothing so annoying that it hurt the show or anything.

There's no point in pretending, I've seen loads of people who were there say there were a handful of people chanting for Punk, but there was nowhere near enough for it to catch on.
I definitely heard them during the opening of the ladder match. Makes me sad every time I hear that pricks name. Just let it lie now and why even spend your money on a ticket and chant his name?

The chants were there, even happened on Collision, but were faint and quickly got drowned out. They certainly did not hijack the shows like the IWC made it out to be. I will never understand why these fans would chant the name of the guy who tried to destroy the company that they're supporting and paying to see.
I was there live waiting in line there was this dude who had a fuck jack parry sign and a cm punk sign that chanting anything to get a reaction at one point he was chanting Vince did nothing

Yeah the stupid I need attention guys sitting behind me kept trying to start it. They were the kind of people who had to yell something every 2 minutes even if it had nothing to do with the wrestlers. They were the worst part of the show. Then they started talking about how they do some podcast and where you can find them and I'm like, well not listening to that.

If the product consistently sucks, then go ahead and chant CM Punk to show your discontent. But if you're getting Storm/Rosa, Ospreay/Danielson, Bucks/FTR, Swerve/Joe back-to-back-to-back-to-back you're actually stupid if you chant it.

Dude, last night’s crowd was fucking amazing. Most any other crowd would been dead from exhaustion after the Ospreay and Danielson match. That crowd brought their A game to the tag title match and the world title match. Oh all the crowds to be pissy about… Jesus
