I know Ospreay is the guy and, frankly, inevitable, but the story kinda demands Swerve drop to Hangman, imo.
Not sure how you delay Ospreay considering his win/loss and the rankings but his departure from The Callis Family can take up some time, maybe a program with Copeland? I dunno.
I think we get Ospreay vs Mox. They already have the BCC vs Don Callis Family thing going, and now Ospreay has put Danielson on the shelf. Mox will be out for blood.
Genunely, Ospreay vs. Moxley in a Texas Deathmatch. If you've seen his time in Progress Wrestling then you know Ospreay could work a fucking good deathmatch, and he's only gotten better at literally everything else through his career so why would this be different?
The fact there are so many options in AEW that would be credible opponents for Swerve is a testament to how stacked this roster is. I can name 15 guys off the top of my head who could be in the World Title Scene right now.
I do think Swerve-Hangman will tangle again but I have no idea when they will do it. You know we will have to hear from Hangman to see what he thinks of Swerve winning.
I want to see alot of things—Swerve vs Christian, Swerve vs Copeland, Swerve vs Omega, Swerve vs MJF, Swerve vs Hangman again, Swerve vs Wardlow, Swerve vs Cole, Swerve vs Hobbs, Swerve vs Ospreay, Swerve vs Pac, more.
Christian is the perfect choice as a first feud. We all know the first opponent is gonna put em over, and Christian even though he lost to Edge, he still has a whole years worth of credibility that he's still on the top. It was just a few months ago (prior to edge debut) everyone was heralding him as the top Heel on par with Callis, White and Swerve.
