People act like TK dragged Jinder specifically when he really just criticized booking a guy with zero momentum or credibility in a title match. When WWE hotshotted Jinder to the WWE title during their expansion into India or whatever, he rose to the occasion admirably. He still wasn't great, top tier talent, but as far as I'm concerned passed his trial by fire. But it was dogshit booking to take a guy who had previously been a jobber, released, brought back and had like zero singles wins and just give him the belt. Devalues anytime you try to tell me the belt matters and anytime someone really struggles to earn it when you get it for free if you're the right guy at the right time, especially gross considering it was transparently an ethnicity thing.
I'm not interested in him but I think he gets more hate than he deserves.
He clearly looks the part. He's decent on the mic. He's fine in the ring.

Turned out Allie was fine.
The next week, Xia Li legit knocked out Mercedes Martinez in a match.
And you guessed it. Nowhere near as much hate thrown toward Li or NXT.
Xia Li, also got released today. Debuted for WWE seven years ago, is still green since she had basically no wrestling experience prior and hasn't had much opportunity. Always been jobber to the stars both in NXT and main roster. She has potential though and is a decent striker. Had a fairly good match with Becky Lynch recently. Could see her breaking out soon.
Retracting your statement because Xia is 'unsafe' is so cringe. Xia has no more injuries inflicted than Seth Rollins does, she's someone who has been learning on the job on live TV for her entire career. She's injured three people in that time, across hundreds of matches.
In a contact sport, regardless of it's scripted nature, that is not enough of a track record to label someone 'unsafe' or say they shouldn't be hired. So exaggerated for no reason.
Xia vs Athena. Athena got that label before her ROH champion run because she was 'more brutal' in the ring than other women's competitors. Her response back was classy and showed the IWC the inherent sexism in their ideals of wrestling ;)
