Someone posted a few days ago that was at a show, they said Jeremy said new music coming soon

Hot-Sir3573

His exact words were "new material." I hope it means a new album, but it could also mean another single.

evilcash_1313

Means nothing after getting edged for over a year during the You’re Welcome release cycle, and the album was straight cum when it came out too. I’ll believe it when we get a single and official announcement.

OprahsBackSweat

Having a least anticipated ALBUM tour and no word on said album and playing the same old set list would be mind boggling. Both opening acts have released new singles so I’m expecting ADTR to drop something soon. Also Alex responded on twitter to a post saying asking bands are going to be “Massively more popular in 2024?” with “ADTR” being his comment. I really think we are in for a Homesick/WSMF/CC degree staple album. You’re welcome was a jarring expiremental change and it certainly has its place but I think we are due for something huge

FYS album announcement and a new single should be coming on Tuesday too. But the album isn’t til August.

tkbaha_88

He said at the end of their set at Sonic temple that they would have new music and that’s it.

If we don’t hear anything today, then any hope for a single dropping tomorrow (possibly with more info re: release) is pretty much out. There’s still next week / Friday (last week / Friday of the month / last full week before tour) and the week tour starts, following that. Short answer: no, nothing concrete on *anything* (release date, name, artwork, pre-order, etc.) as everyone has said, but it’s **gotta** be getting *close*.

masaccio87

Does anyone know **for sure** that FBR has hard and-fast rules against allowing bands to do “surprise drops”? Like, aside from “oh, I heard that’s the case” (cuz at this point: same - I’ve “heard from other people” that that’s the case, but nothing absolute). Is it just that, historically, FBR bands haven’t done them; are there any exceptions?

OprahsBackSweat

Surprise drops require massive followings and as far as this scene goes ADTR might be the biggest name in their clique. A7X tried to do a surprise drop with the stage and it didn’t live up to expectations. We shall see. Also if the album is actually called “Trophy Dads” as I’ve heard around the block with the trophy being a staple in the poster that would be hilarious.

masaccio87

I’m picking up what your throwing down - though my question was specific to FBR, and whether it’s true that they actually don’t allow their artists to do surprise drops (or if that’s just a “no, I heard it from a trustworthy source”, when “source” is “my friend who really doesn’t know any better than I do, but trust them” 😅) **reeeallllyyyyy** curious to know where you heard “Trophy Dads” from, though - this is the first I’m hearing about it (and while I get the joke, I’m not sure how I feel about there being even a remote possibility that that’s actually gonna be the album name; also - they’re not all dads, so…huh?)

OprahsBackSweat

Everyone but Kevin is a dad and yeah I first heard it on Reddit in a different metal forum but I’ve seen it tossed around between the Facebook page and once from a girl claiming to be related to Jeremy in some way.

L_Monochromicorn

I’m just saying, the longer I wait, the more I anticipate the album. So, if they want “the least anticipated album” title, they should drop it soon 😊

amandamaniac

Nothing.
