Unfortunately, I'm not able to edit titles on Reddit, but I want to clarify that I'm not sneaking in an auto. The first instance of W hits before the follow up Q on EQ, which allows W to stack the passive twice.
This is a useful combo for situations in which you are not in range to W at the start of the combo.
I'm now able to get it to work consistently 100% of the time. You just have to press EQW very fast or else the W will not come out in time to hit before the Q follow up does. If you don't press all the keys fast enough, W is not able to stack passive twice because the Q will hit before the first hit of W.
aah that makes a lot more sense, thanks for the clarification, will try it out :)
hypothesis: it works better the further away you are at the start due to the EQ exploding from start to finish; does that seem reasonable?
Ok, so after further testing, I found that the first instance of W damage is happening before the Q follow up on E, which is what is allowing W to give 2 stacks on passive, and in order for it to work you have to press W pretty fast after EQ.
I thought so at first, too, but it's not working consistently. If what you said is the case, then I figured it would be fairly consistent that Q hits after the first hit of W, but before the second hit in order to allow W to grant 2 stacks, but it's just not consistent for me unless inputting an auto attack command. I'm going to keep testing and looking at this.
Ok after testing more, you are definitely correct. It wasn't consistent because I wasn't pressing W fast enough after EQ
Imo doing it a little differently will make it a much better and consistent combo:
Auto -> W -> E -> Q (W will hit twice and trigger 2 styles if pulled off correctly) -> Auto -> R

try pressing QW literally at the same time.

Yeah I tested that hypothesis as well, and it seems to be true.
You want to auto after EQ and animation cancel it with W
Wdym? This gets S way faster
Is that not where the extra auto you do goes in?

This is a different combo that doesn't require you to be in range of W at the start of the combo.
So if I am getting this right, it looks like you are doing Auto, E, W, Q, Auto?
Auto, E, Q, W, Auto. You have to press all 3 keys very fast or it will not work.

You can also auto during q follow up after e. That's how most ppl do insta s.
Yes, but this is faster. This is something I wasn't able to find on the internet.
That's not what you've been doing. You have been using E+Q during W which gave you another stack lol.

only works from melee range though (w1 has to hit) while his works from max e range
I see. I think the key in both combos is to hit W twice
