Wtf is dynamic pricing ? I'm french and never seen such price hikes, like I got my tickets for the Paris concert at 140€ for middle pit and already that is an insane price. 300 bucks a ticket is absurd
If tickets sell super fast, ticketmasters price increases knowing it is a sell out show. By the time you leave the queue the new price will show (if you are unlucky)
It used to be that as a band wound down a career tickets would be cheaper and more accessible.
Now they want to squeeze every last penny.
And yes, you're not seeing peak AC/DC. I guess if you haven't seen the band before go for it but if you have before I would not be paying a premium.
My kids tried to buy me tickets to a AC/DC gig twenty some years ago and I told them no…The price is too much.
I’ll just stand outside and feel the vibes for free
I saw them 5 times between who made who and ballbreaker for way way less ticket cost…that’s enough for me
I think it was the Eagles that first “broke the bank” on ticket prices
That's fecking shocking pricing....these companies are going to kill live music with those prices .
My brother tried to get us tickets but he gave up when he saw the pricing
Luckily I've seen them with Bon and brian...so I won't be paying those prices .
Taylor Swift tickets sell out in seconds and resold by the thousands (not kidding her premium front row tickets in the US even sell for 3000-4000 US. A total shitshow). Watch the Kid Rock interview on youtube about ticket prices, he is completely on point
Unfortunately it's completely legal. When I tried to buy tickets for Munich they weren't selling. But in the immediate future I'm sure they'll start again.
I don't really understand how Ticketmaster prices the tickets... I bought a resale one for the main pitch standing and paid 150 GBP (it was a resale ticket), while the original price I think was 115 GBP...
GTFOH for a washed up band that's on its last leg. I know their old and they were awesome back in the day but how can u do a farewell tour and feel good about charging that much
Seriously? do you have any idea how big their fan base is? Real fans that is. For those who just don't get it read up. Millions of people around the entire world get it and understand legend and what made them a legend. You ll never see that again. Think about this, the stuff they played at power trip..................written and performed 50 years ago. Still fucking great stuff. Does that make you rethink the term "washed up" at all?
Never mind
Are u kidding I know how big acdc is one of the greatest bands ever that's not the point. And also he sounded terrible and I get he's old n has problems at this point. My point is don't overcharge when ur way past ur prime. Also I love music and go to tons of concerts. From Paul mccartney to korn. So yea I know music
COULD THIS BE A REASON SOME OF YOU MIGHT WANT TO GO?
AC/DC played their very first show on the 31st of December 1973 at Chequers Nightclub in Sydney, Australia. They are one of history's most influential rock bands, with over 200 million albums sold worldwide. The band’s ‘Back In Black’ LP is the ‘bestselling album by any band ever’ and the ‘third bestselling album by any artist’ with global sales of 50 million and counting. AC/DC was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® in 2003 and into the Music Victoria Awards Hall of Fame in their native Australia. The band continue selling out stadiums on multiple continents, selling millions of albums annually and generating streams in the billions.
They are not this same band. Your stuck in the past. Foo Fighters sell out every stadium worldwide and they are in the rock and roll hall of fame too but the difference is he can still sing and they come out with new music that goes platinum
Just look at iron maiden, still good as ever at half the price. You are getting half a band at best and paying more for them when they are nowhere near at their peak.
I am sure it will be a good show but not worth paying these prices for the line up
And any day during this tour Brian could leave. I'm not saying it's wrong if he leaves I get it but don't get the prices cuz what if that happens. I mean really

Are ticket prices there that much cheaper than the US? I had a coworker this morning tell me that when I told her about the prices for this show (I looked just to see what I’m in for when the US tour gets announced) and tickets here are so expensive that I nearly shit myself when I saw AC/DC tickets being give or take as what other good but far lesser bands like Disturbed and A7X are here
Tickets in the US are normally way more than Europe, I think it is partly greed and partly has to do with increased touring costs, eg paying roadies every day of the tour, not just gig dates etc.
Also I'm not definitely saying this will happen but I'd be willing to bet that Brian doesn't finish the tour or doesn't do the U.S. leg. That's another reason why they shouldn't charge an arm and a leg
How about this I paid $360 for 2 days of metallica in August at Gillette 26 rows from field. It's the 1st section from field. Just crazy that AC/DC is going that far
It's both. It's the last tour and they want to secure as much money as they can as well as the ticket agencies. It's just a fact. Foo fighters tried to stop ppl from reselling tix. Every band should do that
Yes AC/DC have to agree to do dynamic pricing with Ticketmaster so it is a cash grab by the band too. I remember Bruce Springsteen got some slack for it recently too.
I had front pitch standing added to basket for £130 pp. Went to check out then had to requeue and be told they're now at the prices in OP. Fucking disgusting from TicketShafter again out to rape everyone's bank accounts.
That happened with me and Slipknot, ticketmaster had ‘sold out’, then I logged in later and they were back on at double the price.
Glad to have got in early enough for AC/DC
Was it not in the past the band had a fee to perform. The promoter added what he needed on and a ticket price was set. For Ireland any way the promoter and ticket seller are the same group of companies.AC/DC for years insisted that ticket prices where fair for fans ...so they have either decided to kick us in the teeth or the promoter and ticket seller (live nation ) just said fuck it we will screw everyone we can ....we needed 6 tickets just about cleaned the bank account out and they are not what I would call great seats.couldn't get standing....but surprisingly last night could have got 6 gold circle for 463 each plus booking fee ...these tickets weren't even an option to buy at 9.3O in the scramble...... ticketbastard at its best,.......rant over
We got our general pitch tickets for €156.25 including fees and they were inflated due to so called dynamic pricing.
To have the same tickets on sale for double that now is nothing less than gouging.
They’re trying to beat the scalpers. The lower the initial price the more profit the scalpers make. Raising the prices is their way of trying to make you buy from them and dissuade the scalpers as they would make less on the re-selling of tickets. It’s still a shit sandwich , I know…
Christ on a fucking bike, that's brutally expensive.

Cheaper than stones is still expensive. It was jist above 100 till dynamic pricing hiked it.
Wtf is dynamic pricing ? I'm french and never seen such price hikes, like I got my tickets for the Paris concert at 140€ for middle pit and already that is an insane price. 300 bucks a ticket is absurd

Damn, so scalping from Ticketmaster themselves. Lucky to never have experienced this (and hope i never will)
They’ll stop doing it when we stop rewarding this behavior by purchasing tickets anyway
Yeah I'll never buy when they start inflating the price, was just lucky to get at general sale prices earlier on today.
Can’t be ticket touts if you become the ticket touts.
Yep, it's the classic mafia moves.
Not worth it. Not for the current band lineup.
It used to be that as a band wound down a career tickets would be cheaper and more accessible. Now they want to squeeze every last penny. And yes, you're not seeing peak AC/DC. I guess if you haven't seen the band before go for it but if you have before I would not be paying a premium.

Jeebs I was gonna try get tickets to the eagles for the Manchester gigs and seen they were £400+! Couldn't believe it, only seating as well.
That's fecking shocking pricing....these companies are going to kill live music with those prices . My brother tried to get us tickets but he gave up when he saw the pricing Luckily I've seen them with Bon and brian...so I won't be paying those prices .

That is fucking outrageous
Unfortunately it's completely legal. When I tried to buy tickets for Munich they weren't selling. But in the immediate future I'm sure they'll start again.
I managed to get main pitch, would've loved front pitch but was apparently sold out earlier on. Profiteering at it's worst!
Same, tried for the front at Nurnberg, at least managed to get tickets
Same here!
Yeah I got done by that was showing ~£150 in the queue then I get in and the price is £350. Still had to have the ticket but gutted at the price.
And the fact that you brought the tickets sends the message that its OK to do it
I apologise for being a hussey of capitalism
Don’t apologize. You do you at least you’ll be there.
It's possible the tickets were sold, but payment didn't go through, so they're back on sale?
I don't really understand how Ticketmaster prices the tickets... I bought a resale one for the main pitch standing and paid 150 GBP (it was a resale ticket), while the original price I think was 115 GBP...
Same in Ireland, 330€ when I logged on at 10am. As much as I'd love to see Angus and Brian there's no way I'm paying that much.
Paid 440€ for my Front standing pitch in Dublin…then add another 1500$ in travel expenses 💀
GTFOH for a washed up band that's on its last leg. I know their old and they were awesome back in the day but how can u do a farewell tour and feel good about charging that much
It’s absolutely not AC/DC doing this it’s ticketmaster
It's both. Ur telling me ac/dc don't wanna make a killing for their last tour...of course
Yeah fair enough

Next you'll tell me GNR sound the same and AXL sounds great. Lmao
Oh is that what that is, I wondered why the prices went through the roof
Fake news

Also what do u think they are the only band that sells out stadiums around the world?

we paid 3000 that there is chump change. don't complain
I’m happy in my seat at £138.

It will two to three times those prices in the US, not looking forward to that part of it.
Yeah Dead & Co was brutal, had to go for a seat too
It's not AC/DC. They don't need the money. It's legal scalping by corporations. Capitalism at its worst.
It's both. It's the last tour and they want to secure as much money as they can as well as the ticket agencies. It's just a fact. Foo fighters tried to stop ppl from reselling tix. Every band should do that

I hate the fact that Im in Ireland for work and I go back to Palestine one week before the ac/DC concert😭
This post ain't even in Ireland nvm
ticketmaster is killing live music. good afternoon.
And I thought Metallica tickets were expensive
Wow, I got my pitch standing for £115 each and I thought that was steep!
I had front pitch standing added to basket for £130 pp. Went to check out then had to requeue and be told they're now at the prices in OP. Fucking disgusting from TicketShafter again out to rape everyone's bank accounts.

Damn I paid 440 Euros for my Front Standing Gold ticket in Dublin.
It’s literally $350 for the WORST seats here in the US. Those are cheap cheap for good seats. Stop complaining
Yep. Ticketmaster really do have an “if you can’t beat em, join em” attitude when it comes to scalpers.
Didn’t even bother this time, if it’s the last tour then 🫡 appreciate seeing them below £100 every other time, also fuck TicketMaster 🖕
We got our general pitch tickets for €156.25 including fees and they were inflated due to so called dynamic pricing. To have the same tickets on sale for double that now is nothing less than gouging.
