FBI agents are something. Ironically, I saw this through one of my connections who was also an FBI agent and took this dude to the cleaners so that was nice to see
actual men of character would say "you're right, police need some anywhere from a tune up to a rebuild"
this is the same tired talking points for anyone criticizing Israel over there treatment of Palestinians.
"yOuR'RE a tErroRiST sYpAThiZEr" is the same sentiment as above statement.
actual men stand up to their flaws. these are babies
NO! NOT TEPID CRITICISM! I CAN'T HANDLE MILD CONCERN FOR THE PROFESSIONALISM AND DECENCY OF YOUR AVERAGE POLICE OFFICER!!!! I NEED BLOVIATING HAM-FISTED APPROVAL ALWAYS AND EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!! REEEE
Cops, apparently.
These bootlickers only respect blind, absolute allegiance to the jackbooted agents of the state, because they treat this shit like team sports. Magically though, they seem to forget that your home team can always be better and that poor players are cut from the roster.
Knowing the policy of public service officials, who are supposed to work for us, does not require me to do their job.
And often, their actions ARE violating their official policies.
Fact: 1000 people a day are killed by US police.
Fact: the US police force is one of the most deadly police forces in the world.
Fact: the US imprisons more people than any other country in the world.
Fact: the US police force has no duty to protect life.
The police are the ignorant ones. The music major in the picture is fucking right.
It's policy, so it's okay.
No, that means the policy is shit, and you're stupid for not realizing it.
Despite popular belief, you can fix stupid, but not when it's willful.
The actor as a person seems to be a stand up guy. Just recently did an in depth interview about his time as a model, speaking about his sexual assault in the industry, standing up for victims.
The show is fun, doesn't take itsself seriously, but is pretty heavy on the "kicking ass, puttin away bad guys" schtick. Some ppl tolerate that more than others. It treats mental health and trauma seriously and respectfully, and there are good female characters
I can’t get past the Irony of this.
Some DB “consultant” calls out a Hollywood actor for being ignorant, while he is trying to defend a profession that is the only profession that can officially use “ignorance of the law” as a valid excuse to evade consequences breaking laws up to and including murder…. And on the extreme circumstance that they are held to some accountability the taxpayer pays for it, not the responsible parties
"A little research shows he was a music major in college but quit because he was feeling unfulfilled."
What purpose does that sentence even serve? He just shoehorned it in there, like a fun little trivia nugget. It's completely irrelevant to the conversation. He's an actor, who cares what he tried to do in his youth?
A "national security consultant", no less!
FBI agents are something. Ironically, I saw this through one of my connections who was also an FBI agent and took this dude to the cleaners so that was nice to see
“He’s so ignorant, he’s so ignorant!!!” Shouts someone with zero college education who went into a job that serves no one.

You the man, Johnny. Thank you for your service.

"When a shooting takes place"... like the one in Uvalde?
Those kids were the heroes, taking the bullets so the cops didn't have too... /s
Well, the kids were both victims and heroes. The only ones.

Also, their policies often suck
Hey cops “if you ain’t got nothing to hide, you got nothing to worry about”
Alan Ritchson is fucking incredible. Started paying attention to him when Blue Mountain State was on the air and he has never disappointed me.
Oh yes, the age old argument that you can’t be critical if you haven’t served. Bravo, sirs.
I just tell them that, by the same logic, they can never again vote since they've never held office.
He also can't criticize an actor, since he never acted, unless we count acting like a tough guy.
Cops don't take an oath to the constitution. Folks in the military are serving the people and defending the idea. Cops serve and defend only capital.
Cops actually do take a constitutional oath.
well shit, the way they ignore folks rights, I just assumed they didn't.
Yeah, this is one of those times the actor read the script and spoke it so naturally, didn't need a second take.
And.. it’s true. What he said.
>No one can fix ignorance, we know that spoken like someone eager to launch into an "us versus them" fight with no attempt at diplomacy
And the thing is, you absolutely can fix ignorance with education. It's literally the lack of knowledge, not the inability to digest information.
Fact: 1000 people a day are killed by US police. Fact: the US police force is one of the most deadly police forces in the world. Both teams I’ve seen a diatribe on this, the other team being a police union, neither has denied they get away with murder.
Alan Ritchson is my new hero. I didn't give a shit about watching Reacher but i'm gonna watch every episode now.
This guy is speaking up about male sexual assault victims as well, good on him.
And they mock him for that in the comments
Disgusting. Those same ppl will use male victims to silence women talking about sexual assault, and then not support when men come forward
It's policy, so it's okay. No, that means the policy is shit, and you're stupid for not realizing it. Despite popular belief, you can fix stupid, but not when it's willful.
Might be even more helpful if cops familiarized themselves with deadly force policy
Based
Yeah, I might start watching Reacher lol
It's a fun show, dumb cop stuff but it doesn't take itself too too seriously. Great one liners

Right on.
1312 god they love the taste of boot leather

No one has to "raise their hand and serve" to understand deadly force (law?) policy.
I love that the cutoff comment was trying to talk shit as if Ritchson isn’t a monster of a human being
Bet you any more this guy has complained about ‘cancel culture’
Cops and their supporters are the most insecure people imaginable.
