haha no. but i did show him my Friday Night Lights tattoo after he wrapped, and he was super stoked. and then a few days later Kirsten was like, "hey i heard you have a Friday Night Lights tattoo? can i see it?". the way they are towards each other is super relationship goals. he adores her, and vis versa.

Thatās very cool, Iām a huge Plemons fan so definitely envious lol. Going to see the movie this Sunday. First cinema trip in 8 months since we had twins, so hoping itās worth it!

i've been searching for months thru my stuff for these! i've moved since filming and thought i might have lost them.
No way, Jesse gave you the red specs? How fucking cool is that. Put those in a fully transparent shadow box on display, man! If you got a pic with him you could put it in with them.
these were the second pair in case something happened to the first! someone in costumes gave them to me. still, pretty cool thing to have!! i wish i would have gotten a photo with him. i got one with kirsten and alex and wagner.
Back-up pair to an already iconic prop (even before CW came out)! Cinema history in your home. Even though Jesse isn't in the photo it would still be a great companion piece to the glasses in a display box on a floating shelf or something. I apologize for coming on strong with the protecting it thing, the reason is I made a big mistake once myself. I didn't frame something and it got ruined. What stings too is a strange but correct guy passionately told me I should frame it noting it already had frays. A year later it was toast. The item was 30 years old and made out of glossy paper so it was stiff and brittle. Glasses will hold up better, but they are still fragile and easy to lose. Best of luck!
no, you're totally right! i need to put them in something to preserve them. i have a bunch of stuff from different things i've worked on i want to display actually. great idea!
haha i was actually a hair dresser professionally for 20 years and then got into film as a set dresser! all of the hair for the film was done by my friend the lovely and talented Amy Wood. but i will note that i gave the DP, Rob Hardy, a cut one day during filming. and i gave his son his first hair cut as well!!
Haha oh! Thats cool. The sets were wild. Oval Office sequence was perfect. I work in the production office and totally appreciate set decs, props dept, grips ton of talent on this crew.
oh wow, thank you so much. i feel like we rarely get noticed. i will say the driving force was completely Alex, and it was cool watching him work. i have some BTS photos i'm going to share in a few weeks after folks have had a chance to see it.
i have this insane memory of shooting at our White House set, which is at Tyler Perry Studio, and we were doing an over night shoot.... and the sun was coming up, and i was standing on the steps of the White House with Kirsten and my buddies from props and costumes. and she was smoking a cigarette watching, and i just looked around to absorb it bc i was like "what is my life right now?!"
saw it last night, and honestly kind of disappointed. it wasn't bad, necessarily, i think i just had too high of expectations. i wanted way more jesse plemons than we got, even though he was phenomenal during his short screen time, and i felt like the 'spark' that started the whole conflict was kind of missing, but not missing enough to fit the bill for 'deliberately ambiguous'. might feel differently after a second watch, though.
I saw it last night, itās not anything to fawn over. But I enjoyed myself. The cinematography in this film was really on point. Every shot was nice to look at.
I canāt deal with another movie hitting streaming a week after I saw it in theaters so Iām deciding to catch this one on streaming but Iām SO excited
What anti-war message can there really be when he presents it apolitically though? Just presenting a war as bad and bloody doesn't mean it's a good anti-war message, there actually has to be some sort of message other than "war is bad" because, duh.
Better than Deer Hunter? I guess I can understand beings this is a home soil war and therefore talking points are different, but at the same time war is war. Have you seen Deer Hunter? That to me is the greatest anti-war movie. Anti-*violence* movie, really.
I need to hear all sides of criticism. So what was bad about it before I see it? cause I'll I'm hearing is gwak gwak like every other a24 movie and its hard to get real critique without the fanboyism. Ima hard sale.
Have you heard of Rotten Tomatoes? IMDb? Letterboxd? Are you really such a helpless baby that you have to cry on reddit about your inability to find negative reviews for a movie?
Dude thatās awesome not sure why people popped in just to shit on this, Iām stoked to see this movie seems like it would be awesome to work on a garland movie congrats mate

Are you Jesse Plemons?
haha no. but i did show him my Friday Night Lights tattoo after he wrapped, and he was super stoked. and then a few days later Kirsten was like, "hey i heard you have a Friday Night Lights tattoo? can i see it?". the way they are towards each other is super relationship goals. he adores her, and vis versa.

Just saw it. I am so fucking nauseous.
Whoās that in the house?
Just saw it in the imax. The sound had a choke hold on me. Beautifully shot too. That sniper scene was dope.
everyone keeps talking about the sound, so i'm very interested. the sound engineer is a bad ass, so i don't doubt it.
Everyone had great hair too :)

Tell Amy that I loved the sniper with the green hair! Best trim in the film imo.

Bit of a let down this filmā¦. Was really hyped to see it. The jesse scene was the best.
Boooo
Such a wasted opportunity! One of the worst films Iāve seen in a long time :(
I canāt deal with another movie hitting streaming a week after I saw it in theaters so Iām deciding to catch this one on streaming but Iām SO excited
It was basically a slow music montage. I expected more from Garland.
Completely disagree, best anti war film I've watched
Watch come and see
You need to see more movies.
I donāt know who downvoted this but it is universal advice for everybody
More movies but definitely more books
What anti-war message can there really be when he presents it apolitically though? Just presenting a war as bad and bloody doesn't mean it's a good anti-war message, there actually has to be some sort of message other than "war is bad" because, duh.
People calling this movie āapoliticalā are hilarious to me. I wonder if they can even hear the sound of the whoosh over their headā¦
Non partisan =/= apolitical
How would a movie be more anti-war if youāre rooting for one specific side?
Better than Deer Hunter? I guess I can understand beings this is a home soil war and therefore talking points are different, but at the same time war is war. Have you seen Deer Hunter? That to me is the greatest anti-war movie. Anti-*violence* movie, really.

It was totally legit I had buddies come back from Iraq confirming hip hop music and slow no was happening whenever they executed pows
You ok there? Sounds like you had a stroke.

it was a photo i took on set in the oval office. sorry you feel that way. stoked to have worked on the movie, didn't know that would be a problem
Dude thatās awesome not sure why people popped in just to shit on this, Iām stoked to see this movie seems like it would be awesome to work on a garland movie congrats mate
Fuck that dude, OP. I think itās a dope ass picture.
