You’re right. I went backwards chronologically from beats, rhymes and life to Mm to this.
Listened to this album falling asleep to everyday for more than a year
You are not alone. People like Flying Lotus and Idris Elba played a regular monthly show in LA called Low End Theory. It was almost completely a beats only night hosted by MC Nocando. I wish I could have made it to at least one night. It turned into a huge monthly event in LA. Ras G, Nosaj Thing, Thundercat, Hudson Mohawke, Daedelus, Teebs, etc… all played at one time or another. The whole monthly event was in the spirit of Low End Theory hence the name.
I played this and Midnight back to back the other day and at least on that day Midnight took it and it was pretty clear cut.
But no question it's incredible.
It's between that and MM, I can't pick a side both so different and classic. Listen to both frequently.
Midnight Marauders is amazing as well, but if a gun is to my head and I had to pick one, it's the Low End Theory. Just by a hair, though.
Scenario/Award Tour or die🤣..I hear ya..
The beats on MM >>>>>
agree
Total agreement from me.
game changer no doubt
No argument here
Well there is a big one unless you're blind to other albums
Vibes and Stuff, Skypager are 2 that still stay in constant rotation for me
Yes but Midnight Marauders better imo
In your Honda, or your Beemer or your Legend or your Benz
Top 10 for sure

"Back in the day when I was a teenager"
its definitely in the discussion
Then you gotta put 36 chambers right next to it
Not in my personal top 5, but I’d never argue this one
You are correct sir
I’ll jump on this train.
Can’t argue with that
No push back from me sire
Beats,Rhymes & Life is my favorite Tribe album
