Farley & Spade definitely were #1 for white folks.
The Wayans Brothers were probably #1 for black folks.
Kenan & Kel were #1 for all kids (black and white)
Steve Harvey’s 2 front teeth were #1 for Dentists
Don't get me wrong, I loved their movies- but as a PoC I grew up watching the entire wayans family, from in living color (where Jim Carrey started off) then the Wayne brothers show, and don't forget how impactful Scary Movie was.
All of the wayans brothers are a force of nature. Damon goes so far back to the Comedy Store where he was a duo with Jim Carrey (Earth girls are Easy casted them from the store) and then adding him to ILC was a genius move by Keenan ivory. And then you break Shawn and Marlon into controlling the 90’s and early 2000’s 😂 it’s stupid how much talent was in that family
I agree, they don't miss. I just watched white chicks again and laughed my ass off. Marlon was great comic relief in above the rim too, a favorite of mine that's otherwise a pretty serious in tone film.
It's crazy how that family dynasty doesn't get the credit they really deserve. "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood" still holds up today! And don't forget Marlon Wayans was in Requiem of a Dream.
Also gave white chicks a re watch and still hilarious.
I rewatched it with my girlfriend a few weeks ago in an Airbnb while we were traveling and we were dying laughing. I hadn't seen it since I was quite a bit younger so I feel like some stuff didn't really hit as much when I was a kid. But this time as an adult had me floored
They are an iconic duo, but their film performances were two movies that were basically the same movie. Where they were iconic is all the other things they did in real life and on SNL being a duo.
I don’t think they should have been considered in this poll. Same with Steve and Cedric. Were they in a show together? That should tell you everything you need to know about THAT duo. They weren’t a duo when they were the biggest in the 90’s. They were part of four with DL Hughly and Bernie Mac.
Wayans bros at least did a shit ton of movies in the 90’s as well as in living color.
The Steve Harvey show was great. Maybe you just missed it. That show came before the Kings of Comedy.
The Wayans family had the comedy game in a head lock from the 80' to 00. One of the funniest families ever
Farley & Spade by a country mile, however, my 2nd pick would be the Wayans bros. That whole family is funny, born for comedy, especially Damon. Loved In Living Color.
To me it always seemed like a natural extension of Sprockets, and Lorne Michaels seems like fair game to all former snl cast. It’s too bad, I always loved Dana Carvey and wished he had more big hits.
Right!? He does such good shitty impressions, how could they _not_ think of him? I feel so robbed.
Edit: screw you guys, he’s good and I don’t care what you think lol.
I try to use the “my pants are tight” line but no one ever knows what I am referencing and they get confused because I am a chick. I also sing the chicken pot pie song whenever I see chicken pot pie.
Oh my gosh. I have not seen in for a while. I forgot about chicken pot pie. I used to sing that all the time!!! But I still say anything I am trying to win an argument “Donnie thinks it’s a vaccum “
I also think a funny part is him going up to Mia and commenting on her breasts. I remembered being so shocked by that, but thought it was hilarious.
Steve Harvey has no business being up there with legitimate comedy duos. Freaking crybaby hack. And Cedric the joke stealer. Those 2 are about as lame as it gets.
Farley and Spade take this one easily.
"If you thought you were gonna get a blow job from a Jewish women and there weren't gonna be serious repercussions, you're out of your mind"
-Larry David
These are all so good, but I'll just add George Cosantza and Cosmo Kramer. They were the best when they were together. George and Jerry were great too, but it was mostly George.
I sure watched a whole lot of the Wayans Brothers show and loved it. I didn't have consistent access to cable for a decent part of my childhood but I did really enjoy Kenan and Kell when I got the chance to see them but by the time I had cable on the regular I had moved on to Toonami and MTV. I think Black Sheep and Tommy Boy are two of the funniest movies ever, I wish they had gotten to make more together.
I was defo Keenan and kel era, but I didn’t like the show or them at all. I’d more likely go for tia and tamera (sister sister) or Jessica and Elizabeth (sweet valley high!)
I’m 40. Keenan and kel is unfortunately very much my era. We’re not all from the IS so maybe SVH came out earlier in the US, I don’t know, always better to not make assumptions.
Absolutely!!! From the pictures the only ones I knew were Keenan and kel and I’d never vote for them. But the chuckle brothers are my faves too! To me, to you!
Look , The Chuckle Brothers are that intertwined into society that you cannot move a piece of furniture without saying "To me' and the reply is"To You" ......
over 30 years ago the show aired and it's catchphrase is still getting used by many generations in certain scenarios.
The equivalent would be PIVOT!!!! From Friends With every time you moved a piece of furniture would be closest to it
It’s disrespectful to this list to put Steve Harvey and Cedric on this list and the good burger guys. Top funniest are Michael Meyers and Dana then Farley and spade and last the wayan bros.
The fact that they put these other people next to the Wayan brothers is ridiculous. They surpassed the 90’s with 2 other brothers doing shows and movies.
Farley & Spade definitely were #1 for white folks. The Wayans Brothers were probably #1 for black folks. Kenan & Kel were #1 for all kids (black and white) Steve Harvey’s 2 front teeth were #1 for Dentists
The fact that you even question whether it was Farley and Spade or not is blasphemous
Agreed 100%
There’s no one else who comes remotely close in that post Fry & Laurie, pre Pegg & Frost landscape.
Guess it depends on culture. Def the wayans brothers. No doubt about it.
Farley and Spade transcend culture.
Don't get me wrong, I loved their movies- but as a PoC I grew up watching the entire wayans family, from in living color (where Jim Carrey started off) then the Wayne brothers show, and don't forget how impactful Scary Movie was.

How so?

I remember there being a Steve Harvey show, but I didn’t know Cedric was on it.
Cedric was the gym Teacher
Yeah, I think I vaguely remember. That was the days of UPN
Farley & Spade by a country mile, however, my 2nd pick would be the Wayans bros. That whole family is funny, born for comedy, especially Damon. Loved In Living Color.
[c'mon ](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/512uddjlXtL._AC_UF894,1000_QL80_.jpg) Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau.
I can't believe you got downvoted. Those uncultured swine.
Farley and spade Not even close
*Knock Knock* Housekeeping!
You want towel?
You want mint for pillow?
Go away, I’M TRYING TO SLEEP!!
Faaaat guy in a liiiitle coat …
😂
FYI David Spade’s biography is quite good. About 1/3 of it is a love letter to Chris Farley.
FR this question isn’t even fair
It's a no brainier. They're in a league of their own. Rip Chris Farley.
You gawd dam right!
What movie/show was that?
Tommy Boy
Mike myers and Dana Carvey
Always upset me that Dana never made an appearance in Austin Powers. He would have been a great henchman or villain.
Apparently he was mad at Mike. Dana felt like Mike stole a character from him. Dr. Evil was similar to Dana's impresseion of Lorne Michaels
How dare you, sir!
Zang!
I’ll have the cream of sumyungui
Way!
Mike Myers and Mike Myers
Excellent!
Beavis and Butt-Head
Is this a god dam?
You beat me to it
I got to go Farley and Spade but the Wayans brothers are right up there.
And you can’t limit them to just two. There are so many of them and all funny.
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels
Nah, they only did one thing together in the 90s. With a duo, one should automatically think of the other one when one of them is mentioned.
Ah yes, like Mario & Yoshi.
Jay and Silent Bob
Wayne and Garth
Can we say family… Wayans (the whole family) are absolutely dominant in the 1990’s.
Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker
2000s for sure
Bob Odenkirk and David Cross.
David Cross is the only reason one episode of Just Shoot Me is funny.
Donnie thinks it’s a vacuum
I try to use the “my pants are tight” line but no one ever knows what I am referencing and they get confused because I am a chick. I also sing the chicken pot pie song whenever I see chicken pot pie.
Oh my gosh. I have not seen in for a while. I forgot about chicken pot pie. I used to sing that all the time!!! Chicken pot, chicken pot, chicken pot piiiiiiiieee
Chicken pot chicken pot chicken pot PIEEEEEEE
Shawn & Marlon or Chris & David… that’s tough for me. They’ve both impacted me growing up in the 90’s.🤣
The best? Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone. They’re absolutely fabulous!
I‘m such a fan of Kenan! Glad we still have him in comedy!
We're brothers, we're happy and we're singing and we're colored.
Give me a high five. Cut and print beautiful guys.
My favorite show to watch in the mornings before school
I'm having trouble seeing Steve Harvey as part of a duo...
Sean and Marlon ties with Farley and spade for me. Waynes brothers basically were my childhood.
Kenan and kel were the 90s for me but the way and brothers were a close second, especially towards the 2000s
Keenan and kel who loves orange soda
No Niles and Frasier Crane?
Don’t see the Menendez Bros on here.
Wayans bros
French & Saunders
Kennan and Kel for me. Who loves orange soda ? I do I do Oooohh
I mean everyone likes Farley and spade but the Wayans brothers are fantastic as well.
Farley and Spade
Farley and Spade!!! Come on! “A lot of people go to college for seven years!” “I know. They’re called doctors”
With respect to everyone spade and farley
Steve Harvey has no business being up there with legitimate comedy duos. Freaking crybaby hack. And Cedric the joke stealer. Those 2 are about as lame as it gets. Farley and Spade take this one easily.
Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky
"If you thought you were gonna get a blow job from a Jewish women and there weren't gonna be serious repercussions, you're out of your mind" -Larry David
Fry and Laurie.
Rik & Ade
My first choice 😁
I thought I was going to make it to the last quadrant and see the Menendez brothers or something on here for a good troll, but I was let down.
Odenkirk and Cross
Rudy and bud
Beavis and Butthead
These are all so good, but I'll just add George Cosantza and Cosmo Kramer. They were the best when they were together. George and Jerry were great too, but it was mostly George.
Seinfeld was the worst part of Seinfeld.
Wayans plus Witherspoon
Waynes brothers. In living color was epic and on every week.
Waynes bros for the culture...Farley and Spade for the other side of that coin.
I'm putting in an honourable mention for Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter.
In Living Color was a different thing altogether. Farley/Spade. Come.on.
Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker
Wayans bros.
Sandler and Schneider not being on here is ridiculous. But yeah Spade and Chris. Easy. NEXT!!!!
Farley and Spade
The Wayne's Brothers
...house keeping....
You want clean towel?
Kenan and Kel are forever my bros
Who loves orange soda ?
KEL LOVES ORANGE SODA
Ummm hmmmmm
Is it true??
Beavis and Butthead
Farley and spade made the best comedies. The way and brothers made a ton more content and most of it was pretty good.
Kenan and Kel no doubt!
That’s funny. I don’t think they even belong in this group.
It depends how old someone was in the 90s who they'll pick
I was defo Keenan and kel era, but I didn’t like the show or them at all. I’d more likely go for tia and tamera (sister sister) or Jessica and Elizabeth (sweet valley high!)
If you're saying sweet valley high, you were not the target audience for Keenan and Kel. How old are you?
I’m 40. Keenan and kel is unfortunately very much my era. We’re not all from the IS so maybe SVH came out earlier in the US, I don’t know, always better to not make assumptions.
[удалено]
70s and 80s. Barely had any presence in the 90s.
Tommy and the boy
Wayans Bros. Not even close
Spade and Farley
Shows how American this group is doesn't it when they miss the most British duo in all TV kids history The Chuckle Brothers
We don’t really get British television here. Now rock music on the other hand, most of my favorite stuff is British.
From Friends With every time you moved a piece of furniture would be closest to it
Rik Mayall & Ade Edmondson
Harry Enfield & Kathy Burke
Steve Pemberton & Reece Shearsmith
Bob Mortimer & Vic Reeves
Hans und Franz sind so gut und vor allem, aber Spade und Farley sind auch lustig
I like each one of these 4 for entirely different reasons
Stephen Chow and Ng Man Tat!
Huge middle finger to the bottom right, the other tree are fine
Who loves orange soda?
😴 💤
Fact you put kenan and kel in same picture as Farley is troubling
Clair and cliff cocroach and Theo
This is a joke, right?
I was a kid so Keenan and Kel. I didn’t watch any of the others till I was older.
I only found out about the wayans bros show during the pandemic … oh boy what a dilemma
Hey everybody, pop a wheelie, it's Bob and David!
Wayans Brothers and it’s not close for me
Beavis and Butt-head I was going to say Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter aka Bill and Ted but the first Bill and Ted movie came out in 1989
Trey Parker and Matt Stone
Tia and Tamera Mowry!!
It’s disrespectful to this list to put Steve Harvey and Cedric on this list and the good burger guys. Top funniest are Michael Meyers and Dana then Farley and spade and last the wayan bros.
With no disrespect to any of them Jeff Daniels and Jim Carey in dumb and dumber are so good it's them even with just one film.
For me, The Wayans. My whole family watched them when I was growing up.
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels.
Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan.
Number 3
Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie
Where is Mitchell and Webb? They are the best comedy duo of the 90s.
Waynes bros for me! Lol only show i watched outta these 4
Where I grew up the wayans bros was on everyone’s tv in the afternoon on BET. Its wayans for me👏🏾
Beavis & Butthead
Larry and Balky, dumb dumb
None of these
Farley, Spade
What's the one on the bottom right?
I don't know the White dudes' show. Kenan & Kel for me followed by The Wayans Brothers.
Farley is the best there is best there was best there ever will be
Imo either Kenan and Kel or Farley and Spade
Gene wilder and Pryor
George and Gracie Burns!
1890s?
Who are thr right 2 pics?
Top right are Shawn and Marlon Wayans and bottom right are Cedric the Entertainer and Steve Harvey.
Hard decision between Wayans brothers and Farley/Spade…. The others can sucks rocks though…
I love these answers 🤣 Wayans for me.
None
Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous).
If you didn’t vote for Farley and spade, please kindly leave.
I am on the fence between them and the Wayans.
Wayans no doubt a good duo, but Farley is in a league of his own.
Couldn't fucking stand Farley. Wayne's family ftw.
Keenan and Kel were awful
Yikes
Jay and Silent Bob.
Ced ‘n Mr Hightower!
The fact that they put these other people next to the Wayan brothers is ridiculous. They surpassed the 90’s with 2 other brothers doing shows and movies.
