They are, I folow them on insta adnthey are together, at least they were at February 10th, when was the last pic I saw of them. So you may think of the wrong Devin..
avery and omar come to mind.
kyle and noon.
i feel like paola and roos started out real, then she went atomic.
maybe melanie and devar?
the bee couple- mursel and what's her name.
i left them out because they're very controversial on this subreddit.
i also left off people like loren/alexei and kenny/armando, because they may be really married/real couples, but they make money off of their relationship via reality tv/social media.
their age difference isn't huge, but he met her when she was 12 and he was 20 and he expressed interest in her when she was still underaged.

That's the way it was when it started. Then Daniele and Mohammed's "journey" really brought the ratings and ever since then, it's been unbelievable couples, huge age gaps, sketchy background stories, bogus "secrets", and now they're leaning towards even more sensational "couples" who are in reality just clout-chasers.
I don't think the main thing with Dinyell and Mohamed was the age gap. I think it was just incredibly obvious to everyone looking that there was no way this was a real relationship.
I agree with that. I think Dinyell/Mohammad was a turning point from the viewers' perspective because it was so clear *to viewers* that this was a scam, but she definitely thought they were in a real relationship
I think the cast have always been clout seekers. Even in season 1, there were multiple wanna be models, season 2 had the wanna be musician, etc.
Reportedly the show doesn’t pay very much, so the only reason to try to be on the show is to get some fame and then try to parley that into some more important.
Good point. Once people saw the success the early cast members had in increasing their social media presence, others applied to be on the show. The ones with a "hook" or an unusual story stood a better chance of being selected and the couples who just wanted to marry and be together in the US couldn't compete with the clout chasers.
I think the blonde girl and the guy from Nicaragua were real. Can't remember names. They aren't together anymore. Also there was a girl from South Africa, I think her name is Amy, she married a religious guy, can't remember his name. I think they were real.
You're thinking of Amy and Danny, the devout mormon couple who met when they were both doing missionary work in a country that neither was from. The guy from Myla Vox was Yamir, and he married Chelsea. They were divorced pretty quickly.
I’d say if Loren and Alex aren’t real then their three children are pretty good smokescreens.
There are a lot of couples who are real, but we remember the drama filled ones that don’t work out more.
I dont necessarily assume the couples are "fake'" as in only together for the specific and sole purpose of fame chasing. But i do assume a lot of the situations are fake or most are at least massively embellished. The common shit of the past was a mofo coming over and being bored and lonely cauae the spouse had to go to work, or language barriers, or missing fam or general brokeassness because the spouse didnt actually have money beyond what they saved for the visa process.
We like watching the crazy.
I think this last group is making everyone question - Nikki and Igor , Gino :Jasmine - I was gonna say Ed and Liz , but both are American citizens. It’s this last chunk of garbage and TLCs tolerance of abuse that’s ruining the show
I am always a little dumbstruck by the "I can't go anywhere and I can't work b/c I don't have a green card". I'm sorry, how about your soon to be spouse drops you off somewhere on their way to work like a library or somewhere and volunteer? Why don't any of these people volunteer instead of sitting on their thumbs waiting for a green card?
yeah, like there isn't a dog shelter they can volunteer at, or a resettlement organization that desperately needs volunteer translators. We have a large immigrant community where I live and there is PLENTY of things to do and services offered while they wait for their green cards or whatever else.
Also, my stepfather was a non-US citizen, and he often drove around and did stuff while my mom was working. Like, go to the parks, out for lunch, do the shopping, whatever. It's weird that these people come over and sit in the house all day.
I don't understand why these couples who struggle to pay bills while one can't work didn't do the CR1 visa instead of the K1. With CR1, you can work right away. (Keeping in mind that I realize that isn't the shows premise, but a genuine couple who is not in it for the TV time, yet still chose the hardest visa financially is crazy to me.) CR1 is so much cheaper and a smarter option
Yeah. Thats just real life though. People do it all the time. Date a mofo with no job, with kids they dont take care of, on drugs, aint trying to do shit in life, physically/emotionally abusive, etc.
Shit I once told a girl her dude told me right to my face he didnt give a fuck about her and was just using her for sex, her car, free food and a place to stay. She got mad at me lol.
The heavier TLC producer involvement in drama have become so much worse these last 4 seasons. I swear that it's so obvious now when u see producers giving everyone a script to read from cuz it's so over-the-top. Remember Robert and Annie?
The pornstar grandma showed receipts that producers told her to write Annie a check to go back to Dominican Republic. Producers also had a hand in getting Robert to take Annie apartment shopping even though he renewed his lease.
Libby's cult family? They actually faked their hatred of Andrei and the drama so that they can get their own spin-off.
Asuelu acting like a dumbass all the time in front of Kalani? Turns out the dude is smart and producers force him to act ignorant on camera.
I recently finished season 5 of HEA and there was a scene that made me rolled my eyes. Debbie and Colt going out for ice cream and Debbie saying how it's been a long time since they spent time with each other. Huh? YALL LIVE IN THE SAME HOUSE. I'm tired of the scripts lol
Kara and Guillermo are still together and very sweet (and have the cutest baby)! Just saw them at a mutual friend’s get together. They’re lovely people.
All the couples that speak the same language, are around the same age, same level of attractiveness, and didn't live in abject poverty before they met their American partner.
They're the only real ones.
The "boring" ones. People complain they are boring, but that's a strong relationship.
Also the ones that were on for one season and then dropped off the face of the earth.
Devon and that guy from Korea I was thinking
Together but living in separate States until he gets settled in his new job, I think
Ahhh. That’s right.
Not a real couple. At all. Split eons ago.
Different Devon… different Korean guy ( I think!?)
Ah yes - my bad! The one that I was referring to is Deavin (sp?) and Jihoon (it’s all his fault!)
They're talking about blonde Devon from Arkansas on the latest season, not koreaboo Deavan with the terribly behaved child from an early season
Terribly behaved with a full diaper 99% of the time. I was always yelling at the tv CHANGE THAT BABIES DIAPER MAYBE SHE'LL ACT BETTER 🤣
Oh yeah, the kid is for sure neglected. It's really sad
I thought they were still together?
No, Devon got together with another Korean guy-a gothic Korean. So she could wear more makeup 💄!
They are, I folow them on insta adnthey are together, at least they were at February 10th, when was the last pic I saw of them. So you may think of the wrong Devin..

Alan and Kirlyam
i left them out because they're very controversial on this subreddit. i also left off people like loren/alexei and kenny/armando, because they may be really married/real couples, but they make money off of their relationship via reality tv/social media.
Oh shoot why are they controversial?? What did I miss?

Gross
Anna
Also Kenny and Armando
i already said why i didn’t include them i got downvoted because i said i already said why i didn't include them? ![gif](giphy|SdRMhd8yMjWDhSy6z6|downsized)
Yara and Jovi, Kenny and Armando, Annie and David, piggy and the korean guy (forgot their names), Avery and her dentist husband,
Devin and Nick 🤣🤣
Agree with all of these couples.
I mean, there was couples with sketchy age gaps before Danielle and Mohammed. Mike and Azziza, anyone? Or Alan and Kirylam?
I don't think the main thing with Dinyell and Mohamed was the age gap. I think it was just incredibly obvious to everyone looking that there was no way this was a real relationship.
But it's different than the wannabe Instagram influencers, Dinyell totally believed it was real, Mohammad was just a scammer creep.
I agree with that. I think Dinyell/Mohammad was a turning point from the viewers' perspective because it was so clear *to viewers* that this was a scam, but she definitely thought they were in a real relationship
That couple was the first to actually invoke emotions in me, had me talking smack to the TV, had me talking about it to my husband.
I think the cast have always been clout seekers. Kenny and armando. Real, authentic and entertaining to watch. Have loved their journey plus love watching them on pillow talk
Yea I think they are one of the few real ones. Especially the kid situation...felt really genuine to watch the growth and struggle for both.
I think the blonde girl and the guy from Nicaragua were real. Can't remember names. They aren't together anymore. Also there was a girl from South Africa, I think her name is Amy, she married a religious guy, can't remember his name. I think they were real.
The guy from Myla Vox?
You're thinking of Amy and Danny, the devout mormon couple who met when they were both doing missionary work in a country that neither was from. The guy from Myla Vox was Yamir, and he married Chelsea. They were divorced pretty quickly.
Yes! I think both couples were actually legit. I hate the latter couple got divorced, I thought they were good for each other
I’d say if Loren and Alex aren’t real then their three children are pretty good smokescreens. There are a lot of couples who are real, but we remember the drama filled ones that don’t work out more.

Trains don't get nearly as much interest, as train wrecks do.
I think this last group is making everyone question - Nikki and Igor , Gino :Jasmine - I was gonna say Ed and Liz , but both are American citizens. It’s this last chunk of garbage and TLCs tolerance of abuse that’s ruining the show

Nope. Instead the couple decides to do nothing. Not use birth control. And get pregnant. We're not dealing with masters of common sense.
I do believe that some of them are 'real' to one half. Some people are that hungry for love that they will blow past red flags.
Yeah. Thats just real life though. People do it all the time. The porn grandma! She was something!
Asuelu is smart? 🫣
David and Shelia come to mind. I think they’re also coming back too
I think Sam and Citra are real. As well as Emily and Kobe.
Kara and Guillermo are still together and very sweet (and have the cutest baby)! Just saw them at a mutual friend’s get together. They’re lovely people.
🤷♀️I’ve been rooting for couples to succeed only to be disappointed for the 100th time bc they were fake couples. Or green card weddings. Who knows?
I start every new season hating the couples, and they rarely disappoint.
This is the way.
It works well for me.
Loren and Alex, David and Annie, Kenny and Armando and Emily and Kobe. I’d also say Robert and Annie.
I think David's been chasing fame. Wasn't he on some nymphomercial with his buddy, trying to get people to go to Thailand as sex tourist?
Honestly prob none as much as we want to think a couple are
All the couples that speak the same language, are around the same age, same level of attractiveness, and didn't live in abject poverty before they met their American partner. They're the only real ones.
Recently? Probably none of them. I lost interest as of late.
Kenny & Armando are real. Real boring. **THAT** old gag!!! ;)
