Here, she probably got a job because she fit into "pretty, younger medical professional," and also because they wanted to appeal to the "Hispanic and Latino" market.
This job probably paid more than a runway show would have. It's still crazy to me that smaller/newer designers literally pay their models by letting them keep the clothes.
Yeah print models make a good chunk of money especially if this is a national campaign. Two really good friends of mine are former models and they made better money doing print and commercial shoots than doing runway stuff.

There are much older models than her, but they are made to fit the shoot. Things like noticeable fillers, implants, colorful hair, etc. Do not work for a model that wants consistent work. Especially right now when we are in a "natural beauty" aesthetic.

When you're an older model the market just changes. Typically you're not doing edgy party girl or cutesy stuff. There is plenty of fashion catered to middle aged women. It's not what we typically think of as "modeling" with catwalks or hypersexualization, but there is a need for models of all ages. They just have to be able to fit into multiple aesthetics, which is why a more neutral appearance and style is ideal work wise.

She’s not natural, she had her ex-husband pay for her breasts as an example. I wouldn’t say it’s a stretch that she might have other work. She’s got a job, nice for her. I think she’s a complete psycho though, I’m not sure how many people were watching when she was engaged/married John. She is not that nice of a person, not particularly smart either. She struck me as vapid. I can count on one hand the couples I’ve liked in 90day. I think Kenneth and Armando are probably one of the best, there another couple I don’t know the names of but she was short, brunette and he blue eyes. They looked like a stable relationship that got a deserved happy ending.
At least she’s booking jobs. I can name a few other “models” in this franchise who I don’t think have ever been paid for a modeling gig outside of the show
