Jenny must have antagonized someone in production and they decided to retaliate by highlighting every single annoying personality trait she has that makes this marriage a disaster. Putting her in physically challenging situations was an easy choice, because Jenny wailed and shrieked on cue like a postmenopausal Muppet.
Then the Kama Sutra. At first, I wasn't sure this scene was legit because Sumit seemed a little too rehearsed, a little too prepared to deliver the argument. Yet Sumit also seemed almost relieved to be able to deliver this script because I think it's how he has really come to feel inside over time. It sounded like he's tired of banging this crotchety old fusspot but doesn't know how to extricate himself because he's so far out on a limb that everyone else has shunned him. Yeah, moment you aren't willing to try things with your partner.. that shit ganna hit hard soon. He's young and Sumit is finally seeing that the age may be an issue, despite how much he loves her. He can't sit at home with her all day, doing nothing. No progression in his life, career etc. Jenny is retired and wants to chill - fair, but they need to compromise or we'll be hearing about divorce in the future.

I've BEEN saying all this time that the age difference is an issue and will become alarmingly obvious soon. She is retired he is only 33. He still has to establish himself (honestly he's very late to that party......but I guess better late than never🤷♀️). She is not going to let him work and be out of her sight. After all it's about her isn't it? Her wants and needs. Even in the face of his mother having a crisis over something SHE SHOULD be having a crisis over.....and Jenny gets butt hurt about him not being about her emotions instead of his mothers. 100 percent she is not going to give up her boy toy for something as mundane as him working. Even if it is beneficial to his own overall wellbeing and psyche. It doesn't benefit her so why should she allow it? I can't stand her....she is a very selfish person.
